Sub: to transfer money through cheque from My dad (jk Muthi account) to my account (Jk muthi) same branch.

Firstly i would like to say sorry to post this after fortnight.

Worst ever experience with this branch.
As we are very well aware about the pathetic service of jk bank but having numerous experience with this cg road branch was really very very bad.

Honestly speaking this was not at all expected from one of the most developing city in India. This kind of response confirms the degradation of govt banking services.

I had visited this branch with my father (as insisted by bank officials), who has almost lost his 90% vision, high diabetic patent from last 20 years, bp patient. And they are very well aware about this situation. We were doing such transfer in jammu through signature on cheque but now from last year we have changed it from signature to thumb impression as he is not able to see nor even hold the pen sometimes.

Now we have to make few online transfer and dad is not having the net banking services and now if we have to start the same then we will have to do the same from our home branch, as stated by bank officials.

Now the issue is to transfer the required amount from one jk bank account to other jk bank accounts even from the same branch but surprisingly this time the bank manager had abruptly denied to do such transfer as we already have done the same in past. I had explained our situation and requested him to suggest the way to resolve this. I have requested them if my father is required to visit here to make a thumb impression in front of you or somehow if he can manage a sign. Please suggest but unfortunately the official was busy with mobile.
He stated exactly, “ THIS CHEQUE TRANSFER IS NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE FROM ANY BRANCH IN ALL OVER INDIA EXCEPT THE HOME BRANCH IN INDIA AND NOR POSSIBLE FROM ANYWHERE EVEN IF YOU ARE HAVING THE SAME BRANCH OR THE BLOOD RELATION”.😡😡😡

I was very dissatisfied to know this but at the same time felt very bad to receive the response from senior officials. What can you expect from the juniors, if seniors are referring such careless statements.😔😔😔

Now main climax is that i have submitted the same jk bank cheque to HDFC bank (local branch). And within one day they have transferred the amount from jk bank (jammu muthi branch) to hdfc bank (local branch). Big thanks to HDFC bank 🙏🏻
Actually i was pretty sure this transaction will happen because the way i got the response from cg road branch. They all are just passing a day and criticising the government for no reason.

Frankly speaking this is a big SHAME to those officials due to dereliction of their duty.

Lastly I request to bank officials, please wake up.
