SCAM⚠: You don't have to open a demat account or buy any insurance policies from them in order to open a Zero balance or any account. They will try to manipulate you by saying it's branch's policy but you don't have to believe them. I would rather suggest you to go for some other Private Bank if possible. SBI is trash everywhere anyways!

One of the worst SBI branches. Highly inefficient and rude staff, with no customer focus. Some of them don't even know how to operate a computer. No knowledge of their own product features. They didn't have a joint savings account opening form, so gave me a 'jugaad' form to fill up. Upon submission next week, rejected the form, saying it's an incorrect form!!! Had to shuttle between two different counters for more than two hours, and still couldn't get my job done, as one of them kept struggling with the submission of my form into their system. Then upon asking them for the procedure to open a savings account for my 9 months old son, they simply said that they don't know of any such account or its procedure!!!
