Mission Veng Bazar (Erstwhile Thakthing Bazar)

It's a nice place, you will find different kind of shops, where you can buy any household things you need. It's a small bazaar. On saturday, especially you can buy vegetables of all kinds. People bring their fresh vegetables to sell. It's a good place for Veg and Non-Veg people. It's a residential area too. There are house available for rent also. Bottom line is, it's one of a good place in Aizawl city, Where a family can live a peaceful life and It's a peaceful area also.

Saturday market is quite good. On other days also u can find every basic household needs

Aizawl's very own temporary market which materializes once every Saturday morning and stays till the good part of the evening. You can find all sorts of essential items from vegetables, meat, clothing from different parts of the state plus from the neighboring countries.

It is fun to shop at this market. Saturday is the biggest market of the week, in which almost everything from vegetables, clothes, household things etc are there to buy. One of my best experience is that, we can find secondhand clothes selling at a low price other than some of the market in the city.

It's a great place to go shopping, lots of different shops selling different varieties of goods, you can find most of the items you need if you look hard enough here. I recommend you have a look for yourself.

This is one of the oldest bazars in Aizawl city. It used to be a Saturday bazar only when people from neighboring villages would bring their fresh farm products and display them along the road-sides. But today we can see some permanent vendors sitting e everyday except on Sundays.

A local market catering to daily essentials. It has shops selling groceries, medicines, hardware, toys, apparels, even cycles. Parking is available for two wheelers only. Name of the market is actually Mission Veng market

Great place to buy fresh vegetables especially on saturday morning

Thakthing bazar is the best place to buy fresh vegetables on Saturdays. As it is located at the southern part of Aizawl, it is accessible for the farmers in the village nearby. From Friday night, fresh organic vegetables are available. Apart from vegetables even fresh river fish, prawn and snail are available.

Thakthing bazar was a roadside market where daily basic need,food items,Garments,house building material,etc available.

This is my birthday night, celebrating with my sons and wife's family. May be It's not a big Celebration for other people but it's really a big aNd Glorious moment in my whole past Birthday.
