It's a very beautiful and very long dam. It has very beautiful sights. It has a lovely garden. It is over the Ghaghra river. It has railway line just near it. It connects Lakhimpur Kheri district to Bahraich district and to Nepal also. You can visit Katarniya wild life sanctuary via it. It protects the villages around it from the flood. It's a very nice place for capturing the lovely pics. I visited here today with my childhood friends and enjoyed a lot.

Most amazing dam in the city of Bahraich and its more and much clean and better place to spend one day with family and lots of water this stopped for farming purpose only and lots of tawa there and when wind come and you will feel that it is most cold place in the evening and morning time
