Kuravi Veerabhadra Swamy Temple

Peaceful place but the outside the temple was not good maintained

This temple is believed to be constructed by the famous ruler ‘Bheema Raju’ of Vengi Chalukya Dynasty and renovated by the Kakatiya ruler ‘Betharaju-I. The reference of this temple has also made by the famous traveller ‘Marko-Poli’ as it stood as the capital of Vengi Chalukya Dynasty. The presiding diety is Lord Veerabhadra swamy is fierce looking Diety with three eyes and ten hands. The annual jathra Brahmotsavams will be celebrated during the mahasivarathri Festival.

A beautiful temple which is located near to Mahbubabad town. Been there for shivaratti which was too crowded due to major festival time.

Such a divine place with a lot of historical significance. The temple is very spacious and calm.
A wheelchair accessible entrance is not available.
The temple is not crowded on regular days except the Shivaratri and Mukkoti ekadashi days. A much floating can see on Monday's.
There is no fee for temple entrance and God dharshan, but for a puja a token has to be purchased and the minimum fee is Rs. 50/-. Other fees are depending on the puja.
The temple is open from morning 5am to 8pm on all days. But the temple is closed between 1pm and 3 pm.

Veerabhadra Swamy temple located in kuravi.Temple opens from morning 4:30am - 1:00pm and again opens from 3:00pm - 7:30pm

Loved the place, the temple has a vibe amd energy. It is always filled with people giving their offerings to gods in their own way : cooking the prasad there itself and serving to god. The grand entry to the god.
