Bakhiyath Mosque

One of the biggest mosque with madrasa here in Vellore. It's a nice place to visit for every Muslim. You can see the sacred white color of Tamil Nadu here.

A very big Mosque and Madrasah situated at the Jayaram Chetti Road near Cristian Medical College (CMC),Vellore. There is a muslim community surrounding with this mosque. Everyday Thousands of people performs prayer here. I have found a little chance to perform my jumma prayer here when i was at vellore for my mother's treatment.

Baqiyat Salihat Arabic College and Mosque, A great seat for Islamic Studies and Learning. Established in 1857 has produced some of the greatest Islamic scholars, Maulvis, Muftis, Imams and Hafiz e Kram.

Masha Allah. Good one. Surroundings are not much clean, but the mosque is neat and clean. Bakkiyath Swalath is a kind of honour for the Islamic religious study. The tomb of founder of Bakkiyath, Bani Hazrat, is situated infront of the mosque. Thousands of students are studying here. The mosque was situated in a distance of 500 metre from the CMC Hospital, in Vellore. Near to the Tomb of Bani Hazrat, his son's Tomb is also situated.

Being a descendant of its founder,the great "Alijanab Abdul Wahab sahib"popularly known as "aãlaa hazrath" himself, I know every bit of this esteemed place.
possibly established in the early 20th century, The "Jamia Al Bakhiyath-us salihath"(An Islamic Institution) situated next to the iconic mosque"Bakhiyath_us salihath or Badi Masjid" still remains to be an iconic point for the entire muslim community, felicitating thousands of students (Talaba's) all across the nation every year to complete their desired courses.
And,it wouldn't be unfair,if I say every single Islamic institution (madaris) all around the nation has links with this esteemed institution,being a powerhouse of knowledge,which makes many madaris to considers it as a Benchmark.
And at last,it feels really great to review something which was actually established by my very own fore father☺..Vellore might witness many more Abdul wahab's in the future but this man was truly an exemplary leader!
