Excellent taste... must visit...

You can get a typical authentic tatse of south Indian biriyani. Hotel is clean and big. A good place to visit with family.

Mutton chukka also excellent. You can get nice aroma of the spices. Mutton quality is good.

In all together The Vellore Kitchen is an excellent hotel at Vellore.

Mutton paaya, 2 kalakki, single idly-bun porotta and ney meen gravy, 4 teas, Kari mutton dosa. All the items we had was satisfying to mind as well as stomach. Very good service too. As two of us went there around 5 pm to have our lunch. We were very hungry too.

By far the best restaurant in Vellore for mutton dishes in terms of taste.

Tried the hot and sour chicken soup, tandoori prawns, Madurai Kari kuzhambu (special Madurai style mutton gravy) and bun parotta.
Evey dish was spot on in terms of flavour.
The combo of piping hot bun parotta and Madurai mutton gravy ended the meal on a high note 😋😌.

Wanted to try dessert, unfortunately they were out 😕.

Will surely be back to try more next time.

Very good restaurant for nonveg food lovers. Lost of options to choose from.

Good family restaurant in Vellore town. Must try items : Butter Naan, butter chicken, kaju paneer masala

They were good for the past month I visited. But recently they are upgrading so expect few flaws in their atmosphere. Food taste the same. But lot of items was not available when I was there around 7:30 p.m. on the weekday.

Very good restaurant for both, veg and non veg options.

Absolutely wonderful service and very fresh food. We loved the idli, appam, poori, bun parotta and dosa, although the dosa could have been a little more crispy.

Best part is that they open early morning and is very well located!

Absolutely recommend this place for family or friends gathering or just a regular breakfast!

I had very good chicken briyani after long time , raita and brinjal 👍.
Bun barotta is good too.

I am from Goa. Happened to reach Vellore from Kancheepuram to visit the Golden temple, during Tamil Nadu temple tour with family. Wanted to try non veg after continuously having Veg food.
The server suggested we try the Andhra style pepper Chicken gravy with South Indian Porotas & the Mutton Dum Biryani. Mutton was extremely tender & spiced right. The Chicken gravy was an assault on our senses, full of flavour. The Porotas were so soft & melting in the mouth. The Buttermilk was superb as well.
And all this was served within ten minutes at prime time lunch.

Tried their Chicken and Mutton biryani both were really delicious. The pieces were properly cooked and the rice was flavorful. They served complimentary payasam with Biryani and it was also yummy. The even have kids high chair. Overall tasty and satisfying lunch! Will highly recommend their biryani 😋

Very happy with their food quality, taste and service. Wanted to try something new, so ordered bun parota. Thought it would be stuffed with meat 🤣 but apparently it was plain parota squeezed into bun with some chicken Salan/curry on the side.
I thought the quantity might not be enough, so I ordered a plate of idlis as well just in case. But to my surprise, the bun parota size and quantity of curry was good. The taste was very good unexpectedly 🤪

I’ve tried their Idlis earlier, so no doubt about their freshness and taste 😍 The tomato chutney is the spicy one and the coconut chutney is the non spicy one.

The food was delivered in very good packaging with 0% spillage.

Overall very good food for the price. Will recommend this place.

The quality of the food is very good.
Both Chicken& mutton biriyani are delicious and authentic, the mutton pieces are cooked well.
Kozhi getti curry is also good 😊

Our feast started with array of starters like vanjaram fish fry, fish tikka, leg kozhi roast and nalli elumbu soup. Then we jumped into mains with Briyani and North Indian breads. Everything tasted good. All items were on spicier side. Crowded. Have to wait a bit to get access to feast. Parking available.

I have been a regular at Vellore Kitchen. The biriyani was very good with the rice cooked perfectly and the mutton tender and succulent. The non-veg platter is a bargain for the quantity and variety. Mr. Williams was a great host and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. It does get a bit noisy but that is just a minor downside compared to the good food and amazing service.

Food is average, few items are really good like nalli rasam, mutton gravy. Other items are the usual. I have to mention that falooda quantity is very good, of course the bun parotta is their specialty and that is really good

Authentic meal options including South Indian delicacies as is clear from the name. Good place for taking a break for lunch in Vellore enroute to Bangalore from Chennai. It's generally crowded so need to account for 5-10 min of waiting time.

Most recommended if in Vellore. Please do visit for finger lickings food and great services.

What not to say about this restaurant.... it was awesome experience.. all dishes were mouth watering very tasty and the most attractive was bun parota which was just super dooper.. just feels like to catch the first flight and to have their tasty yummy dishes..
