Very old mosque inside the Fort but unfortunately not properly maintained. It provides the diversity of religion was existed during that time as a big temple nearby. It is prohibited by the authorities to enter inside and offer the prayer. It means now a days India is losing diversity compared to the previous rulers. May Allah open the mosque to offer the prayer inside.

It holds 5 star ranking as the indication of diversity of the religion but unfortunately there is no entrance to it. I saw a police tent on the entrance which prohibits the path. I went there on Sunday and saw prayer was going on both Church & Temple but no entrance for Mosque. This is totally a discrimination.

Very good place for mental peace. There is a police camp immediately beside the masjid. It was built by Nawab of Arcot and it is the only one prayer place for muslim religious people. The main gate is east facing with 2 windows. It was closed when I was there, so no inside photos folks.

Great it proves a old heritage and it's construction, but due to its poor maintainance it looks shabby, it is about loose its naturality with in 2 decades, and now one are allowed there, mosque is fenced and no places of Islamic rulers and mosque is maintained, restriction is also made to trespass, so it shows our nation only supports Hinduism, but it is named as unity in diversity only for the name sake
