Out of the world experience, with splendid views. Their hospitality was so flawless. Staffs really took great care of us. Food was great too. Nagin lake is the place where you unwind away from the busy city and their hospitality made it even more perfect. Would visit it again.

One of the Best Houseboats in Nigeen Lake. It is truly a 5 Star floating houseboat. The staff and the food is excellent.
I have stayed in Houseboats before, and would like to say this is the Best Houseboat in Srinagar. The Owners Yasin Tuman deserves a salute. I stayed in their Theme Rooms which had all the facilities of a 5 Star hotel. A must stay to experience Kashmir hospitality and will be back for more stays very soon

It's a work of art. Great food, beautfiul views from the room and one has to spend time on the terrace.
The bathrooms have a tub which can be filled up with hot water.

Nigeen Lake is such a peaceful place. And hotel has a perfect spot to enjoy its view. I loved every single minute I spend there. The staff were so helpful and kind. The bed was so comfortable and rooms were so clean. Everything we need was ready in the room. I recommend without any hesitation!

Mascot Houseboat @ Nageen Lake is just the place to stay if you want to enjoy real Kashmir. Great food, super active staff and just the perfect location.

This is such a great and quiet place, property is also out of the world, great ambiance,just feel soo good... Rooms are clean, and property well maintained, grt hospitality. Just awesome

recently stayed at mascot houseboat for one night.
We were a group of 18 people. They were kind enough to upgrade us to premium rooms and gave us an entire houseboat to ourselves ,where we could really enjoy with an amazing location, topmost food quality and great service by the manager- Hilal bhai.
Would definitely recommend mascot for someone visiting Srinagar and wanting to experience houseboat feels, though at the same time, should be ready to bury a hole in the pockets..
They should be more negotiable with their rates!

Magnificent houseboat with intricately designed interiors. Enjoyed every moment of our stay there. Clean and cosy rooms with all the luxuries. Caretaker and owner are the most hospitable people I met throughout my Kashmir trip. A unique experience!!!

Located on the quietest part of Nigeen Lake they have 2 large houseboats and one smaller 2 bedroom houseboat. It is almost a 15-minute shikara ride from the land.
We were in the smaller houseboat and we had one caretaker looking after all our needs from meals to housekeeping to room service.
You can sit in the drawing room or in the front of the boat or on the roof.
Meals were delicious and served hot at the dining table.
Merchants come in shikaras, peddling different handicrafts, products and even kahwa.

Many places can offer amenities but very few in the world make you feel at home. From the moment we stepped in till we left, I felt nothing but warmth and love of the people there who want nothing more than to make your stay beautiful and memorable. From beautifully furnished rooms to delicious food, from warm staff eager to help you out to the lovely hosts leaving no stones unturned for giving you the best experience possible, I fell in love with the place. Thank you so much for such wonderful memories of a lifetime!

One of the best experiences,  truly amazing views and the hospitality was top.notch. food was amazing and the staff was extremely helpful.  They made sure all had a great time. Nagin lake is a class apart from the busy and unappealing dal lake.

House boat is new and a gem on the lake. We'll furnished and clean.

Had a great experience. Such a genuine and one of the best hospitality in Kashmir. Must recommend this houseboat to everyone as it is one of the gem of Kashmir, even Indira Gandhi and some of the great politicians had been to it.

Wow...the feeling comes when you enter Shamah Suite at Mascot. We stayed for 1 night on 17th July 2021. You feel like staying in a 5star property. The interior, food & service was excellent. Very well maintained.

Lovely Host Shabbir, never met the chef but he prepared top notch food. Calm and peaceful stay Munir the caretaker very efficient and at our service.

Prices are very high ! But worth it ❤the view from the boat is absolutely amazing! You can see moon rise , Ducks, kingfishers(bird)! Very calm and positive place to live in, absolutely polite and amazing staff ! Food is just out of the world its very delicious and fresh ! Must try roghanjosh with kashmiri rice ! Absolutely loved this place ❤ must visit ❤❤❤!!!

Heaven on earth is literally this . The houseboat is best in this country I was told and yes it absolutely felt like it . Lovely staff . The shamma sweet is amazing with a jacuzi. The food was lovely . The early morning shikara ride is must do .

I have been here two times now and I can honestly say that don't bother searching any more. It's your loss if you have not visited the Mascot Houseboats and the Tuman family at least once in your life. The boats are beautiful and are a symbolic inheritance of Kashmir's progress in art and culture. The intricate panels will certainly leave you in awe and help you appreciate the sheer hard work that this Labour of Love consumes. Smartly hidden are the fixtures of the Modern world that make the Mascot Houseboats a reliable site for the indulgent holiday where you can laze away the day appreciating the beauty of nature while consuming copious amounts of lip smacking fresh food. The physical reality should have been enough for your much needed vacation therapy but add to that a super helpful staff that indulges your laziness and a family there to make you feel at home and you know there is no better option for a stay at Srinagar.
