Hotel Misty Rock

Very good resort...Rooms were clean..service was good...and water supply was very good... Affordable price also..It's 1000 rupees per night and 300 for extra bed.

I read all the reviews, and decided not to go there! But our situation demanded us to try.
First week of September 2022, around 10:30 pm - 11pm we were hungry and we found no place to eat except this one! Reading all the review I was skeptic to even enter.
But there was this one guy who came out and told we are serving chapathi, parota but no rice we asked him any hotels that’ll be open he suggested one hotel so we went towards that place but asked him to wait for us to return thinking what if that hotel was closed!
So the hotel he suggested was closed so we returned to misty rock

We did not go in for dinning we ordered our food to the same guy and we waited in our car
Yes it’s true that drunk ppl come here, while we were waiting we saw a car pull by to go inside they were all drunk.
We ordered 8 chapathi, dal fry and we requested for little curd aswell.
Total was 230/- for two
We ordered staple food not to risk, and it was good.

I regret two things here
We did not ask his name and couldn’t click picture of the food.

Awesome hotel with neat and clean animities good quality foods avilable but price little high

We tried days special menu fish biryani.

Biryani provided with fish fry were tasted marvelous. I just loved the masala and fish fry they provided.

We also ordered egg fried rice and it's not bad.

Only recommendation is to avoid more oil in all the dishes.

Its a hotel located at the border city of Karnataka, the restaurant is very good, hygienic and dishes are delicious and fairly priced. As it is one of the biggest restaurants in that area I expected huge prices for the dishes, but for my surprise, the prices are rock bottom ( hardly 10-20 rupees higher than a small restaurant), but the taste is awesome. They have parking facility. They quantity they serve is adequate to a person, neither extra nor less. I suggest this restaurant at Gundlupet for anyone travels that area.

Good stay on the way to Bandipur or Ooty or wayanad, from Bangalore. We have booked with third party site , reception was good, room service was good. Present on highway just before Gundlupet. Food was decent.

Good food avilable with clean and neat animates and good quality food avilable

We, a group of 20 people stayed at misty rock on 21.04.2016, on our way to Ooty. We had booked the rooms in advance. Due to some vehicle problem, we could reach Misty rock only by 11.45pm. By then, the restaurant was closed. Even at that point of time, the Hotel officials had concern to ask us about our food and also were ready to prepare food for us. Rooms are fantastic. So the service. We had a pleasant stay. Thanks misty rock for making our trip a memorable one. We expect in future also same quality of services. Good luck.

Worst hotel to visit, for washroom also you have to pay

Rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean. Good services with 24x7. Food also available here. Parking also good for two wheeler and four wheeler. Bandipur tiger reserve is near to this hotel. Mysuru also nearer with in 50kms.

Easily accessible from the highway. We had only a brief stopover. The rooms are neat, airy and spacious!! Th bathroom is clean with more than adequate water supply. The service was impressive!!

Stayed one night. Good rooms. Very nearer to Bandhipur Tiger Reserve. Plan for a overnight stay here and wake up early morning and go towards bandhipur and get assured safari ride with animal sightings.

Situated very close to the highway, Well furnished rooms, economical and very clean. The room service & the front desk staffs are courteous & helpful. Overall Good place for an overnight stay..👍👍
