Good atmosphere to study. Good and caring teachers. Along with education sports, yoga and cultural activities are also taught. Students studying here are very disciplined and smart.
All the teachers here are well qualified to teach. Teachers are available 24x7 for students. This school is affiliated to CBSE board. The curriculum is similar to other CBSE schools. Sports and PT sessions are conducted everyday under supervision of PE teacher. There are inter-JNV sports meets every year which go from cluster level to regional level to national to SGFI.

Great place. I was there to attend a regional alumni meeting in july. Very ambient place. Nice attachment with memories 🥰

Cool Greenery place Navodaya. Here the interesting things I found are open multi purpose hall and iron constructions of different geometric shapes to remember easily while seeing or playing with them. There are plenty of jack fruit trees here 😅. A special welcome guest of honor done by the music team I think was cute as their dress code was special which I have not seen my Navodaya 😊.

I have been to this JNV for first time on 16th July’23 for alumni meet.
Campus is spread across many acres and neatness is maintained. Was curious to see CC TV cameras everywhere. Not sure if these are installed in all the JNVs recently.
Class rooms were clean and well equipped for smart class.
Sports ground was bigger to host meet for 5K people. Alumni meet was organised perfectly.
Totally it was joyful to be there for meet-up and relive those JNV days.

Not just studies, we learn sports including archery, cultural activities,NCC, scouts and guides, leadership n lot other qualities too.
We learn to be independent in our works, we also learn the value of teachers , friendship and lot others ❤
We wait to see our parents every month.though we live far from them , we earn their values, we respect their sacrifices because no parent wants to leave their children far.
Today I am a doctor and when I step in to the past I just can remember this was possible because of my parents sacrifices and a school I was in.
Though there was no cet coaching in 11th and 12th in our time , up to 10th std academics was very good.
according to me this school helps in your overall development .
Some of the cons are Navodaya students lack communication skills and less knowledge about what's going outside in the world .
also many used to go out for 1st n 2nd pu because there was no neet coaching available though some can qualify dakshna exam to avail free jee n neet coaching in 11th and 12th which is available in jnv b lore urban itself.

Jawahar Navoday itself is a landmark all over India and it is always located at the outskirts of the city. Have been fortunate enough to be there as one of the faculty is our family friend. Always advised to travel on weekends. We started from HSR and reached there in almost 2 hours. The Hennur road is in bad shape and it will kill more time in journey. The campus is on the main road and it's natural. All the staffs have their own accomodations and all are same. The campus is full of green and children can be seen on weekends playing and waiting for tea. They have good facility of kitchen and dine in area. The campus also has IIT coaching center and also the classes are full modern with WiFi, projector facilities. The playground is superb and is always busy during the hours. The teachers are good and quite friendly. The students here are scholars.

Kindly do not give star without knowing about it.
All Navodaya deserves 5 Star. Its our privilege to study in Navodaya.
Its environment is known only to the one who says I am what I am today is just because of Navodaya. It teaches you the life not just a chapter in book.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) is a system of alternate schools for gifted students in India. They are run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. JNVs are fully residential and co-educational schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, with classes from VI to XII standard. JNVs are specifically tasked with finding talented children in rural areas of India and providing them with an education equivalent to the best residential school system, without regard to their families' socio-economic condition.[1]

The Navodaya Vidyalaya system is a unique experiment unparalleled in the annals of school education in India and elsewhere. Its significance lies in the selection of talented rural children as the target group and the attempt to provide them with quality education comparable to the best in a residential school system. The Budget for Education, Boarding and activities at JNVs are provided by Ministry of HRD, Government of India and it's free of cost for the students during the 7 years of stay.

Getting a seat in JNV is purely depends on kids talent as well as luck. Bcoz... Its a good environment to study and self dependency of students in their life to grow as a proud Indian. Hats off to the Principal Mr. Raghavan Kavalan for his discipline and dedication about Children's growth in every angle and Faculty is also good. I am very happy to see my kid there in 7th Std. Nilgiri House. Good luck all the kids of JNV's. .

Those how were asking for the free structure,I drop some points for them first of all jnvs are from class 6-12 so asking fees of class 1-5 is useless.
I let figure you no jnv will charge you a single penny upto class 8 from 9 you have to pay 200 for nvs nidhi but there is a (if)cause if you are sc,st it's free but if your are general or obc you have to loose some penny.

I consider Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya schools as a holy place for the way they are changing the lives of children in a manner that they becomes the pioneer of future successfull persons.

The best school comparing to any other schools. Best education given with free of cost. Jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya is the best school in India.

Fantastic greenery campus, well suited for students to get education. Staff are polite, well trained, and professional.

JNV the name itself showcases the Students will be well dignified , dedicated, neatness, and capacity to overcome from a problem when they are educated from this golden temple of education
