Review of Shack in South Goa, Palolem Beach:

I recently visited Cuba on Palolem Beach in South Goa and had a delightful dining experience. The ambiance was perfect for a beachside meal, with the sound of waves in the background and a relaxed atmosphere.

Food Quality:
The highlight of my meal was definitely the king fish tawa fry. It was expertly cooked, perfectly spiced, and incredibly flavorful. The spice level was just right, adding a nice kick without overpowering the delicate flavor of the fish. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I couldn't get enough of it.

Additionally, the chicken tikka was also excellent. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a beautiful char from the grill. The marinade was flavorful and aromatic, making every bite a delight. It paired perfectly with the stunning ocean views and cool sea breeze.

Service:
The service at the shack was prompt and friendly. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were also knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations.

Ambiance:
The ambiance of the shack was exactly what I was looking for in a beachside dining experience. The open-air seating allowed us to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach, and the relaxed vibe put us instantly at ease. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some delicious food after a day of exploring.

Overall Experience:
Overall, my experience at this shack in South Goa exceeded my expectations. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and breathtaking views made it a meal to remember. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palolem Beach and craving authentic Goan cuisine with a stunning backdrop.

Fantastic location, great food and mega friendly staff. All staff was great but I must mention Harry who has gone above and beyond to provide the best service possible! Basically, one doesn't want to leave this place at all. Hugely recommended!!!

Very happy with the service, the spacious room and the bar/restaurant atmosphere. Great value for money. Will come again!

This is my 10th time at Cuba palolem and boy this is one wonderful place with the pure Goa vibe,. Great food, good music and my friend Pawan. This is one place where indeed times takes a break, ocean front, music and drinks and food. What more do you want! If you want a laid back goa time my recommendation would be definitely here. But if you are in hurry them this place is not for you!

Lovely place to sit on the beach with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there are sun-loungers where you can order drinks and food to. Came here several times during our stay. Would recommend

We didn’t stay here.. but had an amazing dinner one afternoon and an even better evening on another occasion, when they had a DJ, Jez playing. Brilliant atmosphere, absolutely delicious food, and pleasant seating area. Service was very varied. When we ate they could not be more attentive.. although for drinks not so much.

Cuba bar and restaurant is really good it sa very good place to stay also service is first class pawan kumar and the team are great 5 stars

Been coming here 12 years. Same helpful, friendly, efficient staff each year. Special thank you to Bobby, Harry and the lady on the till. Great choice of delicious fresh food especially prawns, crab, lobster and pomfret. Lovely atmosphere and views. Definitely recommend

The very good place to stay and the stay and the staff is very lovely and they treat like us as family and especially Pawan Kumar the very lovely hearted person is there you have to definitely meet him 💕❤

Best food in Palolem. Very nice ambience. Please try the honey chilli potato and the tandoori prawns. Mr. Harry our host was extremely polite, hospitable and helpful.

Really enjoyed this place, chilled music and big bean bags to chill on and watch the sunset. Harry the waiter really added to the experience, so friendly and helpful to everyone. Also bonfire every night

We were looking for a place to lunch and chose this beach shack because among the stream of shacks, this one was cleaner than the rest.

We were shown a sear fish and a pomfret and asked to choose what we would like to have cooked for lunch. The expert in our group pressed and pinched the fish around the gills and found the pomfret was stale. The bearer sheepishly admitted this was a fact so rava fried sear fish became the obvious choice.

We ordered some butter chicken masala as well along with a salad and rotis.

The fish was delicious, the chicken masala tasty, eating both in the seaside ambience with the waves lapping up the shore delightful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the outing. Would I recommend this place? Perhaps yes. Would I come here again? Perhaps no because the whole shoreline is cramped with shacks and one is spoilt for choice.

Very pleasant place to spend the day and night by the beach. Very comfortable poufs to lie on and read with the view to the sea. delicious veg pakoda and freshly squeezed juices. Super energy of the people who work here. Thank you Pawan kumar and all the rest

My favourite time to come is in the morning for a chill breakfast on the beach, chai masala and jazz music 🙏
And of course, the best of cocktails in the evening with delicious food✨🍹

It's great experience in cuba restaurant awesome food literally awesome 👏 view is stunning from the restaurant front line table is hot favourite it gives awesome views of beach and sea. Some time you have to wait for while to het that spot I'm suggesting that 😜 I'm foodie so in my opinion food is good. Service is also good. Crowd is good. It's a family place to hangout.

Amazing spot in the center of palolem beach. I stayed in the resort and had lunch almost every day, the lobster was super good!!
Pawan kumar was extremely nice and takes care of everything you need, very recommended!

I can’t speak highly enough about my time here in Goa and in particular Cuba Palolem, the huts are large spacious well presented and couldn’t be any closer to beach, all the staff are so so friendly and attentive and will make it happen, every question asked was answered with a smile, kudos to Harry, Ashok and Pawan who made my stay all the better, quality people who deserve all the praise, quality quality quality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So there are some places which just know how set the mood right , Cuba palolem the shack restaurant was one such place , perfect mood lights , perfect moon lit night too , outstanding music , veg options can be more , food was nice , service was decent, we had an amazing time , wash room can be men women separate and cleaner …. This year in November Palolem was relatively quieter on it’s night parties compared to 2022 , last year was lot more fun , there was live music in many places and so much dancing on the beach …. This year m not sure what happened but we really had to take walks to find out where there is some vibe and music we were in Palolem for 5 nights and only a few places had some night vibe , Cuba , Art resort , Rococo Pelton and magic world but well there was no way of knowing what’s happening where in the night so we just took walks & figured and luckily for us Cuba was outstanding on that day , we thoroughly enjoyed and would not want to leave ….
