Jorhat Medical College, Neonatal Department is well infrastructure and facilities. Surrounding of the premises need more maintenance, cleaning, house keeping and plantation. More awareness initiatives among the outdoor patient and attendant to be follow to keep the premises and the surrounding area clean and well maintain. More paid cabin require, at present only 10 nos. of cabin available. Baby care unit is well equipped and good service by the Doctors and sisters.
