Gandi pochamma temple is located at polavaram and there you need to hire a boat to go there. She a very powerful Goddess who is ever enchanting. To reach polavaram you need to travel enroute kumaradevam via road and there you find this temple with the same name. This location shows a temple on the banks of godavari. She makes sure that the river doesn't overflow and thus guards her children, is the popular belief here. Recently the temple has been taken care of by the endowment department after which the temple has been renovated to the delight of the devotees. U would really be enchanted by the ambience bcoz one side you can see lush green fields and the other side you see godavari. People throng during navratri and seek goddesses blessings.
