Being a Person from Mangalore, working in Hyderabad, This was the first time that I tasted food like Sagu Dosa and Sheera ( Kesari Bath) that too in a Udupi Hotel which are famous everywhere. I can't describe the taste in words. Mind blowing. The service was excellent. Felt like I was in my Native place. I would definitely recommend this place to others visiting Bangalore.

The masala dose is just amazing here one must definitely try it's very crispy..masala idly, poori, kashi halwa and carrot halwa is also must try..no dishes here are average everything is good definitely worth a visit.. morning 11 30 dose will close and they again start by 2 30 in the afternoon so plan your visit accordingly if u want to try dose. Also another must say about cleanliness and service is 👍

Nice and clean restaurant serving fabulous and tasty food. Had filter coffee, Sagu dosa, Masala dosa, and idly sambar. Excellent taste. Worth visiting. Sambar is very tasty, not the typical type that you get in all other Bangalore restaurants.

Sagu masala dose is quite an experience. Loved it. Love the fact that this hotel has stood close to 100years. Hope i get to travel in 3 years to eat in this place when it completes 100years 😊🫡

The sight of service staff without footwear tells you how they treat food with reverence. The elderly staff serve you their wonderful food with great promptness. The badam halwa is a delight along with the other regular fares of Bangalore.

After 15 years I visited this hotel.
The taste of Masala Dosa has not changed at all.

Today I had Masala Dosa and Vada, the size of Vada was bit small compared to the price.

Overall nice hotel if you wanna savor authentic south Indian Dishes.

Udupi Sri Krishna Bhavan is an old-school South Indian tiffins restaurant located in the old part of Bangalore. All the food here is done traditionally and the atmosphere is as local as can be! To start, I had the soft, fluffy idli (steamed rice cake) and vada (rice and lentil fritter), which came with a spicy, tangy coconut sambar and green coconut chutney on the side. My favorite item was the Masala Dosa, a rice and lentil crepe with a filling of masala potatoes, served with a pad of butter and green coconut chutney. The rustic dosa was also brushed with a red chutney on the inside and was perfectly crispy without being too greasy. Finally, I finished off with a metal cup of filter coffee, which was hot, smooth, and milky—a perfect way to start off a morning in Bangalore!

I have been visiting this heritage eatery every month for nearly twenty years now, it's one my preferred Sunday morning breakfast places.

It is a heritage restaurant which is nearly 100 years old, once you enter the place, you will be transported into the old world charm, as it is located inside Balepet, it's better to travel in a two wheeler or by public transport.

Some of the iconic dishes you get here for breakfast are the Sagu Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, Rava Bisi Bele Bath, South Indian Pulao with bread pieces and double-beans, Badam Halwa and also an authentic South Indian Meal for lunch.

Superb traditional South Indian food

This place has the BEST dosae in Bengaluru. CTR, Rameshwaram and others can be rated after this. It's crunchy yet soft on some sides making it a perfect dosae. It's located very close to Abhinay Theatre. They had Chayote Bajjis, Onion dosae which were drool worthy and the filter coffee is out of the world.

Unfortunately for some reason they've been listed permanently closed on Zomato even though they're open and functional. I've been trying to contact them and fix it because I want outsiders to experience the real Bangalore dosae unlike the hype they buy at Vidyarthi Bhavan.

I am seeing this hotel since my childhood.. this hotel has retained vintage Bangalore style of serving.. Yes this is how every hotel were before fast food culture.. wooden chairs.. not knowing of self-service funda... To the point they are serving great and hygienic food now also... You wanna know how a crispy uddin vada tastes like? Then visit this place... To add Masala dosa it's yummy..
