The Srikalahasti Temple is definitely a must-visit place for everyone. It is a superb archaeological temple with captivating paintings and impressive construction. The temple is well-maintained and clean, although it can get quite crowded. However, it's worth the wait to get your Darshan (blessing).

We were fortunate to find accommodation near the hills, which provided a peaceful and beautiful setting. The temple is easily accessible, and there are good restaurants available nearby for refreshments. So, you can enjoy a delicious meal after exploring the temple.

Divine place to visit. Don’t miss to visit whole temple. If you have elderly people it’s better to purchase tickets for early Darshana. Mobiles are not allowed inside. You have safe lockers and also you have annaprasadam too. Whoever going to do sevas please contact at temple so that you can save money. And also visit bedarakannappa temple. Need to climb stairs as car goes for half way.

Definitely visit place to all. We got the accomodation near hills which was very peaceful and beautiful. It was around 6am place was filled with snow. It was so beautiful to watch clouds passing by. There was a rabbit farm spent very good time with the Little ones. Carry normal corn or carrot to feed them.

Has play items for kids. Good park with green grass. Overall it's a fantastic place to be at.

Very well managed facilities. You have the parking lot right at the entrance. Leaving your footwear at the counter you can ascend the stairs to the temple. Each steps are unusually high and you will feel this while returning. Old age people have to be carefully assisted.

Very old temple with good Vibes inside the temple.
There is seperate que for senior citizens, unlike in tirumala which need advance booking. There is sheegrah darshan also available for 200Rs but I gave 100 o
To along with parents and grandmother.
Pooja type is like tamilnadu encircled around the Murthy of Shiva.
Temple will close at 8.30pm, couldn't able to view surrounding as we went in the night.

Srikalhasti temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is known for its unique architecture and is considered one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalas, representing the element of air. The temple is famous for its Vayu Linga, symbolizing the presence of Lord Shiva as the god of wind.
Pilgrims visit Srikalahasti for Rahu-Ketu Pooja, believed to alleviate the effects of these planetary positions. The temple is situated near the banks of the Swarnamukhi River, providing a picturesque setting.

Don't prak your bike without knowing the charges.

Temple is very famous for a few Poojas like rahu-kethu sarpa dosha nivarana, rudrabhikhesham, Chandi homam, rudra homam and other pujas.. if we know any of the pujaris in the temple, we can get special attention by spending a little amount.

Srikalahasti Temple is renowned as one of the Pancha Bhoota Stalams, where the principal deity is venerated as an Air or Vaayu Lingam. Often regarded as the Kashi and Kailasa of the South, this temple is particularly famous for its Rahu Ketu Poojas. Notably, it remains open during both solar and lunar eclipses. An intriguing phenomenon occurs within the inner sanctum, where a lamp flickers continuously without any perceptible movement of air. This becomes evident when the priest closes the door of the main deity room, which lacks windows. During our visit to the temple at the evening arthi time, we were captivated by the sublime sight of the Lord, an experience that words cannot adequately convey.
