Worth visiting, lot of information provided and exhibited about marine life and can watch lot of rare species in here

This aquarium is a must visit when you are in Port Blair. Even I was reluctant to visit but it was worth it. The credit goes to guide female Vinodini. Big shout out to her. Her explanation, guidance and behaviour made it all the way more interesting. Various forms of original and exotic species of fishes are kept there.

As the part of my Andaman trip I have visited this place on 27.12. 2023 . The entry fee is rupees 20 per head.
It took half an hour to see the things.
They are maintaining the place clean and Neat.
Photography and videography not allowed inside the place.

Awesome place filled with all water creatures of andaman. You have to take permission ticket of 50 rs for photography and videography inside aquarium.

This is an understated place with a super variety of fishes. Well maintained and with ac, this place is next to Ross island jetty and close to cellular jail.

Takes about 30 min, it is very informative on the corals and marine life

Aquarium is the best place to visit in portblair whenever you got chance please visit once and experience the underwater marine life. There is an entry fee just rupees 10 is for students up to 12 years is 5 rupees per head. You can click picture without using flash after buying 50 rupees ticket from counter don't use flash. Enjoy the marine life

They have various fish in the aquarium.

Marine aquarium is located near to the Aberdeen jetty at a Walkable distance. Tickets @ 10 per person. You may have to pay extra money to take photos thru phone camera or a digital camera. In front of the aquarium, there is askeleton of sperm whale. Inside you can see a great varieties of corals that you see and probably identify if you have done scuba diving at andaman. There are also different kind of fish (live and preserved) ones kept as exhibits. Overall a good place to take some photos and a quick stop worth exploring.

Beautiful and well maintained aquarium. You can get a normal ticket for 10 only and if you want to shoot anything still or motion you have to pay additional 50 bucks for that. Went there in 2017.

It was amazing experience!! It has a huge number of corals, all different types and seashells!! It have alive fishes and dead salted ones! Just 10 ruppes!! Good collection but no option for taking pics but it us possibly for video recording!! I learnt so much!

Though not big & cannot be compared to city/foreign aquariums, the place is informative & maintained well. Kids will enjoy the place. There’s a park nearby too, just behind the aquarium & hence the place acts as both a science centre & an entertainment centre.

Good place to see and know about sea animal and plants, kept live in aquariums.
Children and senior Wahi are not able to do scuba diving, can see life of sea fish, snakes, corals and their details found specially in and around Andaman and Nicobar islands

Its is Not a living aquarium, But so much thinngs are THEIR. lots of sea animals preserved in jars. Informative Are Displayed though and the Entry Ticket is 10 Rupees.

It's just a normal Aquarium. Don't spend more than half an hour. Photography and videography are prohibited unless you buy a ₹50 pass.
