Mandapalli Shaneeswaralayam

I finally got a chance to visit this temple which is a very old shani temple. Shani resides here in the Linga form. Along with Shaneeswara, there are 2 more lingas and lord krishna temple also present in the same premises. I didn't go there on Saturday to have peaceful darshan of God. This is the only Shani temple in India where Shani himself has done pranaprathista to the deity and you can offer til oil to him on any day. You have ample parking space and all pooja related items are also easily available. The priests who perform the pooja are also easily accessible in the temple premises.

Great temple and The Lingas situated in the temple are ancient.Clean premises and the temple employees are friendly.Must to be seen.

Mandapalle is shivalayam. 1 hour puja is available here in mandapam in from of idol. Very powerful temple.

Mandapalli shaneshwaralayam is well known place , people with Shani dosha visit this place. Ritual on Saturdays are auspicious. It is best to sleep at night in temple and do ritual on the next day. The moola Virat is established by mahamuni agastya. This temple have its own sthala purana. Temple is tidy but slippery, pooja starts at 4:30 am. People are the place are friendly, i personally have pooja done by main pujari koteshwar Sharma garu. His ucharan is good.

Things to note:

1. Those with saade sati..should visit the place a the previous day night and sleep in the temple. Carry your bedkit along

2. Make sure to complete pooja early in the morning. Pandits visit the place and pooja starts from 4:30 am onwards

3. 500 rs ticket to perform pooja before moola Virat, 150 rs ticket for pooja to be done in temple mandapam. I suggest rs 150 ticket

4. People can also give danam like salt/navadanyam/nuvvulu & swayampakam etc. These are usually not accepted in all temples, donating these will have shanis good blessings on us and reduce the doshas

5. Temple pujari will give the instructions, once pooja is done. It is good to leave the clothes there itself and leave the place. DONOT LOOK/GO BACK. Make a visit to Hanuman temple nearby and read Hanuman chalisa after changing clothes.

6. There is hotel on the main road, idlies are very famous . The place remind me of 80s . Don't judge the hotel appearance, the food is palatable

Such a peaceful temple with nice facilities. The Mandeswara swamy "Shaneeswara Pooja" will be held "every Saturday, Shani Tryodashi and no moon day (అమావాస్య)". The facilities like bathing will be available. The place where you have to go once in a while. You will get the blessings of lord Shiva, venu gopal swamy and Shaneeswara swamy. This temple has a total of five temples. The village name mandapalli where the temple is situated is near the town ravulapalem.

I like this temple most, but main problem is road is not good, and also temple also must maintain, a part from that 105 for puja Darshan, and puja items oil, coconut, black sesame seeds etc charge 200, and for performing puja generally they ask between 500 to 600, but good thing they don't demand.
