Tippi Orchid Research Centre

This place is very good for nature lovers. This is a mini botanical garden, but mostly for Orchid types. Also has a forest sort of setup that you can roam around. With drizzling weather, we had an amazing experience. No shops/eateries around, may take 1hr to complete the visit, depends on your interests though.

One of the most important attractions in Arunachal Pradesh. So many orchids in one place.

This is one of the most interesting Orchid centres besides the beautiful Kameng river and near to Bhalukpong. Plenty of orchid species of the NorthEast available here. Botany students and nature lovers will spend more time here to gaze. For the first time I've been seeing Indian pitcher plant here, which is interesting for me and my kid also.

For Orchid lovers, Tippi Orchid is the best place to visit. It has varieties of Orchid and is also maintained so vividly.
People traveling from Bhalukpung can easily visit this place.

The ticket fare is about Rs.10 per person (last time when I visited).

This is a must visit place in bhalukpong. It's a sanctuary consists some of rare orchid species of northeast. It is just beside the beautiful kameng river. The orchids here are very colourful and well maintained in green houses. You can also buy these from here. The place is very calm, clean and beautiful as well. You can also see various birds and butterflies in the trees here.

A must visit for the one who loves orchids, cactus and different varieties of plant species. Its recommended to go during the bloom season when the sight turns out to be more appealing and a treat to the onlooker.

I went on Sunday that's why it was officially closed. But I went through it and enjoyed . It is amazing and the beauty is magnificent. I can't enter to the orchid house..

You have to Pay an entry fee of 10 Rs per person & you'll get to see a whole lot of orchids & other known species of plants, cactus and also venus fly traps which personally were my favorite🙂

A lot of Orchids on display.. Good work is being done.. However, we wish that saplings could be kept on sale too

There is no such large variety of orchid garden in India.You will saw more than 500 species of orchids here and the place are just amazing.

Good place for nature lovers but please don’t visit in the month of june because there wont be anything too see.

Tippi Orchid Research Center in a good place in Arunachal Pradesh . I was first time visit this place. I was see it many types of Orchid .
I love it . But my suggestion is a Government of Arunachal Pradesh please maintain this Research Center . Then more attractive see we are this Research Center.

Its an awesome Orchid🔥🔥.
There is a variety of different flowers and plants which can only be found there only.
Recently a Museum has also be made there. Its a bid area surrounded by forests, so anyone can go for walking there. The area is also good for photography also. I would suggest everyone to visit this place atleast once.

The place is so beautiful with the road side view . The hill station road so beautiful, there are nice kumeng river and lots of hills along both side of the road.also there is picnic spot near the Orchid research centre. Also near the spot lumum water falls have with many small other water falls both sides the road. If possible you go with your friends and enjoy your road trip and the day. The place such a beautiful. The monsoons season is the best season but winter is very good to see. I love the place and once again the place so so beautiful. I went to my friends when I was doing master program from Tezpur university.❤😍

Very good place for travelers lots of plants including Arunachal orchid plant available here to visit & examine....and also the maintenance was really good ....but don't know why this place is not popular.....

Needs improvement

Lovely collection of orchid, impossible to escape without a gaze and admire .A cage full of cactus varieties which makes you wonder they do have huge family.Place will keep you busy with its flowery nature.
