I loved this school the most.....i studied there class 10th and 11th i.e from 2010-2012.....
Teachers were very helpful there......quiet area around the school.
Big play ground is present but in most of the time of the year its filled with big grasses due to the rain.......even its in the island i think this school was better than the mainland schools in which i studied.....there is no partiality done by the teachers here.

At start hated for being a part of this school but slowly realised that really it hits something different by calling our self as kevian really we can feel the diffrence from other school student never thought that i have to leave this school forever it is a blessing for me for being a part of this vidyalaya gonna miss all the wonderfull teachers and my classmates friends every one every corners of the wall have thousands of memorise from thousands of pass out batch 🥲🥲 # PROUD TO BE A KEVIAN and iam 💗

Class of 1987. I was here from 1983 9th to 1986 finished 11th std. I miss my classmates Joy Vargheese, Piyush Agarwal, Sardar, Ujjal, Pathania, Avinaash, Chackho, Umesh, Sanjay from HP, Sanjay Biswas, Mehta, Tarun (traced him in CIT Coimbatore) teachers Mrs Roy, Mathew teacher couple, PT master Singh, a teacher from Bihar who taught my class just before I left(she was my neighbor), Chemical lab assistant from TN, (Traced my junior Ravi Vardarajan in Chennai). Boys spoke little to the girls then. I still remember the girls though. A good school then. Lots of students were into YGFile and Brilliants for IIT. We played a lot of football and had other games Kabadi was one. I loved the library and read so many popular novels then. Port Blair was new for my parents and siblings and we later lived close up the hill in front of the school close to the public library. For a while I came to school in an army truck sitting with Mrs Roy in the front seat. Later I would walk down the hill to school. It used to rain a lot throughout the year. Classes were ok. Science was very good. I got state level rank in 10th standard in 2 subjects. The island itself has a charm and life was really slow there then. Hope I meet my classmates, truckmates and neighbors some day. Sekhar.

I did my 10th from KV 1,Port Blair and I had some amazing experience during my study time.All the faculty was very nice,helpful. All and all the school is the best in the Islands:)I really miss the school...

The vidyalaya was established in 1996 in 4.083 Hectors of land at Port Bair. The vidyalaya is under the civil sector and has an enrolment of 1535 as on date comprising 785 boys and 750 girls. It is a three section school from I to X and has four sections XI and XII classes offering Science, Commerce and Humanities streams. The secretary (Edn), A & N Administration is the Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee.

Nice location plus, focus on children holistic development. Children enjoy the funday in School.....overall very nice..

1979 (I std) - 1982 (IV std) this school was earlier near the, now govt. model school, somewhere in 1980-81 i remember coming to this school.

Best school in Port Blair. In all field kendriya vidyalaya is doing best performance.
