Heritage Khorikaa

I always prefer to visit the Haritage Kharika whenever I wanna have some Assamese food. It has nice ambiance, hygiene with quality food. I specially like the chicken with bamboo shoots here. And my friends visit for the pork items here. It's very delicious according to them. The staff are friendly. I also like the yummy kheer which they serve as a complementary desert. If you are in Guwahati and wanna have a good Assamese thaki , I surely recommend this restaurant.

Assamese food with most authentic taste. It's a must try if you want to understand good of assam. It's one thing even if you are visiting guwahati you should eat and give your taste a new flavour. Love of assam on plate to curb your hunger.
My husband tried duck with potato, and he said this flavor reminded him of his childhood his dad cooking on tracking. Those memories were very dear to him and your food reminds him of them

Being an Assamese, I love Assamese thalis. Khorika has always been in my list of favourite restaurants in Guwahati. Though now the brand has split into two separate identities, I still I love both of them. But, since its separation, I have been mostly visiting the Heritage Khorika. With great homestyle cooked food and the homely ambience, it has always won my heart. There's ample parking space, so don't worry about that.

A Great Place to enjoy Authentic Assamese Food. The service is somewhat slow but the food justifies the delay. The Ambience is dingy. The staff is helpful and polite. There's usually a rush during the peak hours. The 'Chicken with Bamboo Shoot' (Baah Gaaz) is a must try.

We went here on our trip to Guwahati while looking out for authentic Assamese Cuisine. The ambience is very nice. The staffs were smiling and courteous. We ordered Seasonal Veg Thali along with Fish Curry in Mustard and Brinjal Fry for 3 of us. Whereas for remaining 3 of us we took Steamed Rice, Pigeon Meat Fry, Duck Meat Fry and Chicken Curry. Each and every item was delicious and within the budget.

Whenever a quick lunch treat comes to my mind, Heritage Khorikaa us always in my list. The menu has a wide range of ethnic dishes and the food is so homely. There are plenty of interesting photographs on the wall & there are books too to browse over in one corner. The tables are almost always full and many foodies tend to wait till they find their spot. For the food is worth waiting for! The restaurant is right behind Goswami Service Petrol Pump, Silpukhuri. Do look out for the banners and you will find your way to the first floor where it is located.

I wandered in with my cousins on a Saturday evening, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of cooking chicken. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 4:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table.
Don’t let appearances fool you—the decor may be divey, but the chicken with bamboshoot is fantastic. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date.

Very good restaurant, their dishes are very delicious.
They have a wide variety of dishes.
I personally love having their thali, it consists of many items which are very tasty and good for your health and the way they serve the thali is so amazing.

Personally favourite Assamese cuisine restaurant. Took my parents once and they were really satisfied. Had been going since 3 years and still one of my favourite place to dine in.

To begin with this outlet is operated by Celebrity Chef Atul Lahakar. And to excite your taste buds, here’s one more exciting fact, Chef Atul has worked closely with the one and only Chef Ramsay.
Even though it is a Celeb Chef Restaurant, prices here are very nominal and food is lip smacking.
The restaurant is very easy to spot and navigate to. And almost every cab pilot knows about this restaurant.
The restaurant is just adjacent to the petrol pump. There is a sign way to the restaurant at the location. There is a dedicated parking spot for the restaurant just attached to the petrol pump.
About the restaurant, it is very neat and posh. Staff adhere to Covid Norms.
There is a little book shelf to pass your time while your dish is being prepared.
Their Assamese thali is their prime specialty and a must have. It’s a rice based vegetarian thali with lots of vegetable dishes.
You can spice it up with some additional non vegetarian curries.
So come here and enjoy.

During my first visit in November 2018 to Guwahati I asked my local friends for authentic Assamese Food and they brought me here. And am glad that they brought me here. I am a vegetarian and loved the thaali. It was priced at Rs120. I was surprised with the affordable prices and the selection on the menu. The bill for 3 people with a non Veg dish was just Rs750. The ambience is awesome with tons of pics about Assamese culture. A neat and clean place, a must visit when in Guwahati.

Awesome food, the waiters are good and well behaved. The chef is the best in Assam i guess. The ambience is perfect for family outing and even kids. For ethnic food there is none better than Khorika in Guwahati. I would certainly recommend you all to come and enjoy the food of Assam here. also the price is affordable.

A wonderful and great place to have authentic Assamese thali. I'm from Odisha and I've stayed for over two years in Assam and truly speaking I haven't had such tasty and mouthwatering Assamese thali in any restaurant. Ambience was perfect though it gets a bit crowded during peak hours. The Chicken Khorika was more or less like tandoori chicken but on a bland side. Fine for having with rice or thali.
