Hotel Baljees Regency

I recommend this hotel. Food was tasty and staff is very cooperative.Room was clean and luxurious.

The front desk staff was very helpful.. Nice and soft spoken with their clients.. staff was amazing.. Very clean hygienic and spacious room.. Most of the city tour points are close by. Budget friendly.. We have stayed at this hotel on last January and the food was very good. If you are in shimla must visit this place... I hope this review will help you.

I visited during October 1st week and found hotel Baljees very comfortable, all services were appropriate and up to the mark. Also had breakfast during the stay which was good, well served and with variety. Overall i liked hotel location which is near and easily accessible to the Mall road. Hotel staff is polite and gentle.

It was a nice and comfortable stay with family at Baljees Regency. Mall road from here is walking distance which is conveniently connected with the hotel. Reception staff was cordial and welcoming. House keeping staff and room service was round the clock perfectly good.

I forgot my dryer in room
We were down stairs. They Called us immediately. This was great thing.

Note. Water was taping from tap while it’s in off position. (Save water)

And update your hand shower.
There’s a press button on handle available in market
With that it’s easy to bath.

One of the biggest and old property in Shimla. Baljees is the very known name in Shimla and everyone can guide you if you forget the way to hotel.

Good food but limited options (6) in breakfast and Dinner but it has good taste.

Room are well designed and well structured but since it is a old property so they keep making the changes to improve it.

Manager Ashok is very cooperative and well behaved man who will welcome you at the reception. Receptionist is also well behaved and polite.

All time hot water running in the bathroom so no worry at all. Bathroom are cleaned and well organised.

Picks on other site may differ from the real image but it is a good hotel.
It has Bar available in the hotel.
mall toad distance is around 500 meters. You need to go uphill to reach the Tara Bhojnalay which connect you to mall road.

I and my friends had a very nice stay at this hotel which is situated in Shimla and is very near to the mall road. They have their own way thru the hotel up to the mall road which is hardly 10 minutes walk. One has to climb around 40 stairs so not recommended for elderly and differently able people, but otherwise it’s a short cut to reach to mall road (beware of monkeys though). Whole staff is very cooperative, especially Neha, the receptionist. She was polite and patient enough to show us different rooms available in the hotel. We finally chose to stay in family suite which was quite nice and can easily accommodate 5 person (we were 4).

It was a good experience with hotel baljees regency, hotel is located in center , every thing is around , mall road is 100 meter away from the hotel. you can go anywhere in shimla from here with low cost of transport.
Above all, hotel staff is very polite , room service is excellent , staff is very honest, specially front desk staff is very sincere and prompt. I would recommend it to others... happy stay

Food is delicious specially breakfast

We stayed in this hotel in the month of September. Excellent hospitality. They have an in-house restaurant that serves good food. Room service was also good, the staff was politel, helpful and thoroughly professional. Would love to stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights, good and safe place to stay here. Staff is very co-operative and always ready to help. Morning breakfast buffe is very tasty and hygenic. Room service is very nice, very quik. Security guards at entrance are good. Reception behaviour is very polite and co-operative. House keeping team is also very good fast delivery. Room service team also done commendable job, very quik delivery at room .

I stayed here with my family and really enjoyed the stay. Staff is quite humble and polite. Neat and clean rooms.
Preffered hotel if you are visiting Shimla.
Lunch is also good with excellent quality. Family room size is very good.

We booked this hote l for a family trip .And booked 2 premium rooms Rooms were nice and hygienic just the thing is non view but it's ok they guided us before . Food quality is best ,Location is also great they provide parking facility ..I want to give a special thanks to Niharika mam for making our stay comfortable ... Recommend to all family ... I have booked Family Room its very nice room that accommodated our family (2+2) and the staff are very cooperative, Cordial and guiding correctly. In Room amenities are Well Provided. Local Taxi also they arranged. Hotel to Mall Road and Lakad bazar is walkable about 200 mtr. Their time of C:in C:out are 12:00 Hrs to 12:0) Hrs. We arrived at 08:00 am as our room is unoccupied we have been given room immediately without waiting till noon. Special Thanks for that.

- Standard rooms are quite small without view and service is also accordingly. Please go for premium rooms which are on above floors for the view (not so great) but better than a wall view
- You need to call at the room service number every-time to switch-on the hot water
- Food is decent and price is also reasonable but you will get much better cafes and dine in options at mall road
- Hotel location is not so quite close to Mall road(as they claim) but there is a shortcut stair from the hotel to the route which goes to Mall road (not advisable for older people and children alone). Reaching Mall Road from here will take around 20-25 mins atleast.

You will not get a better hotel at this price point within the vicinity.
