We stayed here for 3 days. Rooms are clean. Manager Nikkaram is a good human being. He is honest person and helped us a lot. He was the perfect local guide for us. He provided taxi service to narkanda at reasonable price. They also provide pickup and drop facility. Overall really good experience. Highly recommended this place !!

Let me write a detailed review, because this deserves one! As others mentioned, I should definitely start with Mr. Nikku bhai, a big kudos to him. His warm welcome and the way he treat guests is really great.
I had booked from GoIbibo for one day (had 3 different hotels on our 3 days stay in shimla). Reached Victory tunnel and Nikku Ram called and guided us exactly which way to take. Later he explained how people get scammed there and thanks to him for saving us! The roads are typical shimla steep. We were given room with Annadale ground's view. Room was pretty fine, the main plus thing is they have a bed heater, which was a boon and didn't find in any other hotels! He asked what are our plans and suggested a good day out plan to kufri and jakhu mandir in a car at ₹1500.
Also, asked about our other stays and the next hotel wasn't good according to him. So he checked and let us stay here with same cost as previous day's. Later we looked at the cancelled hotel and we appreciated Nikku bhai's genuine feedback.

He didn't force any idea upon us, because the third day stay was at Treebo Varuna and he mentioned that's a nice choice. Next day we went in car to visit places and Mr. Boby bhai dropped us near our next hotel. Food was good, hospitality is A class, also he called me again to check if our trip was good or if there were any issue! He also offered us to come back here in case our next hotel doesn't allow us to keep our luggage till the night bus! Such a nice gesture 🙌.

Well, that's about him and about stay, I would definitely book again when I visit shimla, even though accessing here is little of a trekking! There is a rode which is accessible by car aswell incase you have any issue in walking.

PS: stay is not exactly at the place where google map shows, so please reach out to him before you reach Shimla.

Nikka Ram ji is a very kind & very helpful person. Nikka ji gave me all services at an affordable price.
I booked my taxi by Nikka ji my driver Rajendra ji was a very good person and he drove very safely according to my visiting places.

Service of Nikkaram is very good and he is there every time for you. Cab service for sight seeing was also very reasonable and you should contact Nikku bhaiya . Only negative side of this property is that it is little far from mal.

Nice experience staying in the Annandale view. Behavior of hotal manager is nice. He arranged cab for simla site viewing in very reasonable price. We enjoyed a lot.

Cleanliness, Peaceful surrounding and view from 1st Floor room making it a 5 Star Property! Owner is really helpful. He will make sure all the comfort and help you with open hands. If you're having a vehicle then it's good to reach, if you prefer by walk then it's almost a trek of half a KM each time you wish to come out of property. Don't even try to reach by Google maps. Just reach Victory Tunnel and call the property, it's just 5 min away. Thanks to hotel manager Nikaram for all the efforts he made to make your stay friendly.

Tip : Never book this property on any online portal, just call them for better options.

My experience is very nice. The manager " Nikaram" bhaiya is very helpful person. Feel just like family here. Every one behaviour is very good. Thank you Anndale view hotel. Good for stay in shimla.

Very Good hotel for every one, all facilities including 24 hours hot water, home survic and Laundry food are available, and Mr Nikka ram is an excellent person you can contact him for pickup and for local sude screen traveling. Mall road to hotel distance just 7-8 minutes.

Pros :

1. Very good facilities for the price, real value for money. Room was neat and clean and anything one would expect from a budget stay.
2. I got a room with a good view of the valley from the windows. (Not sure if it is the same for all rooms)
3. The property manager, Mr Nika, was extremely helpful and courteous. He helped with finding the property, walked quite a bit to meet me, walked with me a bit to show me the way to the bus stand after i checked out, was prompt and cooperative with food etc.
4. It is close to the mall road
5. It is slightly away from the hustle bustle of the main markets and crowds.

Cons :
1. The only real drawback could be that its location is such that elderly, unfit and infirm people may find walking to and fro tough because of the inclines (although this is so with many hotels in all hill stations). So if you dont have a car and you are very unfit, or elderly, please be prepared for a small but steep hike each time you venture out into town..

My stay at Annadale View was wonderful!

The rooms were decent and the view from my room was breathtaking. We were provided with all the amenities like geyser, running water, blankets, kettle, electric blanket, soap, towels, and drinking water, etc., mentioned on the booking website.

The place is situated a little downhill but it is easily accessible and is connected to the main road by a well constructed path. All the tourist spots are nearby and the Mall Road is only a 15 min walk away.

The caretaker, Nikkaram, was absolutely amazing. He was very warm and hospitable. He took care of all our needs.

It's nice place and car service is very low and room service is very nice. Hotel attended Nikka ram is very nice person and good behavior. Please stay here.

Very good hotel to stay. Nice caring and nice view from hotel. Specially The manager Nikka Ram is very caring and always he is available at one call. The food is also very healthy and tasty.

Was a pleasant visit. My aunt forgot her gold jewellery but Nikkaram was kind enough to keep it safe with him until our return. He is very honest and sublime.

The place was so awesome. And very comfortable..too useful to stay for us .it's just walkable distance. From railway station..The manager (Nikkaram) also sooo helpful to us .and he is genuine person...room was soo good .the manager arrange the taxi for travel to kufri and pickup and drop the railway station..the facilities soooo benifit..

Location is awsome. Rooms with views are amazing. Some rooms don't have views but the cost of rooms are too economical that one can compromise. Budgeted rooms with nice hospitality. Recommend for travelers, friends and couples who want rooms at best price in shimla.

Nikka Ram Ji is a man of his words! I had booked a stay for 2 nights here for my family ( with 4 Senior citizens!). He had promised that he would drop them to the main road since there is a small incline from the hotel to the main road. Not only did he keep his promise, but he also ensured that everyone had a comfortable stay.
The rooms were super clean and spacious and the views fantastic! And all this for a bargain price. Well worth the money

The stay was amazing property too was quite peaceful , the manager nikku was very kind and helpful ,also if you're travelling by bus do contact him for the assistance to the property prior as the taxi service there is not that reliable and may charge extra.

It was a good stay, rooms were spacious and also in budget as compared to other hotels nearby. Nikka Ram, the manager was really nice and professional. He assisted and guided
us even for trips with taxi services and drivers throughout the stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights in Nov 2021. The stay was amazing. The rooms are nice especially the ones with the views of the valley below. We got electric kettles, electric blankets, running water and drinking water throughout our stay without any problems. Nikka Ram the caretaker was very nice and helpful. He helped and guided us throughout our stay and this warm attitude of his made our stay in Shimla even better.

We even got one of the rooms decorated on request as one of our group members had his birthday on the day we arrived which was executed by the owner flawlessly, however it was chargeable which is understandable. We also got a Bonfire arranged on our last day and a room heater on one of the chilly days during our stay which were all chargeable amenities but the rates were nominal and we were happy to pay them for the experience!

Overall a great place to stay with a warm staff, it is located around 1km away from the mall road and down a steep hill but the daily trek is fun. Even if it is in a remote location we never had any troubles. Nikka bhaiya was always there on our beck and call and provided us with everything we required throughout our stay.
