The Sri Siddeshwara Temple in Haveri is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, architecture, or spirituality. This 12th-century temple is an excellent example of Western Chalukyan art, and it is also one of the most important Shiva temples in Karnataka.

The temple is constructed of soapstone and is intricately carved with detailed sculptures of Hindu deities. The main shrine houses a linga, which is a symbol of Lord Shiva. The temple complex also includes a mantapa (hall), a garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum), and a pradakshina path (circumambulatory passage).
The Sri Siddeshwara Temple is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus, and it is also a popular tourist destination. The temple is open to visitors from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. There is a small entry fee to enter the temple complex.
Here are some of the things you can do when you visit the Sri Siddeshwara Temple:
* Admire the intricate carvings on the temple walls and towers.
* Visit the main shrine to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.
* Take a walk around the pradakshina path and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
* Visit the museum to learn more about the history of the temple.
* Visit the nearby temples, such as the Mukteshvara Temple and the Someshwar Temple.
I highly recommend visiting the Sri Siddeshwara Temple if you are ever in the Haveri district of Karnataka. It is a truly awe-inspiring place that will stay with you long after you leave.

Historical temple built during the period of Chalukya Kingdom.
There are lots of Halegannada inscriptions on the temple pillers.
There is a nice park surrounding it, so people come here for the morning walks.
