Bombay YMCA - Camp Lakeside

One of the best camp sites I have ever visited. Around 50kms from the highway. It is located in the midst of nature and being there without doing anything would add life to your life. Beautiful scenery. Well managed. Super food.

Very beautiful location and an excellent campsite created with a lot of thought and effort. Staff is very nice and supportive. There are a good variety of adventure activities too. Clean and simple stay. It's a must visit for families and groups. Very reasonable rates for stay and activities.

YMCA Lakeside is a beautiful place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. You can pick a choice of lodging according to your preference. If you are feeling adventurous, you can stay over in a tent as well. The place has numerous activities as well for individuals or team to participate in.

The people who run the place are really chilled out and the food is exceptional.

It is a stunning location for a vacation. This place is so quiet that you can only hear the voices of birds and nature. And the food, one of the best food I have had so for. I will definitely recommend to go to this place.

The experience was awesome, the best part was the food it was damn good better than many restuarants, the walk climbing was good experience, though i think bow and arrow was lil problematic as in 150 you only get 5 arrows we didn't got basic knowledge about how to operate it properly and kayaking was good.

My son had been camping to this place with the Scouts group and teachers of St Xavier’s English Medium School, Vasai during the last week and I must mention that he has returned with the most memorable experiences. He’s non-stop talking about the place, the activities, the faculty, the support staff and most importantly the food! He’s enjoyed it all and wants to visit the place again with family.

A peaceful place. You can enjoy well if you come in a gang pre planned with activities. The food served is really good. You'll have to wash your own plates after eating. The rooms are not that great. But it's neat. It's better to get your own blankets. The atmosphere was enjoyable.

This is the best place to get away with the chaos and daily routine of anyone's lifestyle.
The peaceful surrounding, nature's love with activity like kayaking, 🏹 and many more gives one a mental peace, satisfaction and love towards nature.
Definitely a must visit site with family members .

Nice place..we went on a trip with approx 40 people.. njoyed our trip.. the only problem is the road from highway to site in difficult fr people having traveling sickness...as the roads are having loads of turns n updowns..
Rest is best for chilling n having fun.

The Architecture of the Campsite is remarkable. The best architecture ever seen. The Campsite is well maintained. Activities wall climbing, Archery and amongst all Kayaking has no words to explain. Swimming in the lake (with safety guards) has heavenly experience. The Food at Campsite is too delicious. Best experience. Highly recommended for corporates.

So grateful for experiencing the unforgettable hospitality of the staff members of ymca. Had heard a lot about this place by my ex colleagues who had visited as a group 3 years ago and finally got to visit this place myself. We were just 3 friends residing at the entire campus for the weekend but not for a moment did we have any kind of complaints! The food cooked by the staff made you feel like you were being served a home cooked meal. Just that it was a fancy spread with too many items! All the staff who help you out during the activities are extremely polite and warm. We were actually in awe when we realised they accomodated the 3 of us for the weekend at such a huge campus, if it were any other resort they would have asked us to postpone our dates or club with a larger number. Will never forget this experience and would definitely visit again!

Superb experience..We went in the month of December with family to celebrate birthday functions we stayed there for two days it was a great experience food was fantastic the service was amazing staff was very Cooperative overall good experience

Though I volunteer for the camps but I wouldn't deny the fun you have when you come here as a camper. The number of activities (Kayaking, Rope Climbing, Zip-Lining, Mountain Climbing, overnight Trekking are just a few) The variety of food you get daily, Cabins and Tents provision just give you the campers vibe. You just get to be with nature and witness God's creation around with birds chirping in the morning, monkeys spying on you for your stuff, fireflies in the trees making it shine better than a Christmas🌲tree than we humans could do and to top it all frogs and lizards giving you a suprise visit in the bathrooms. An experience to be in with nature and get disconnected from the City life. The best get-away place to take your colleagues & friends for an outbound. The Campfire night on the last day has always been a memorable one to me.

Awesome place..want to visit again and again ... quite and calm place, there are dormetories and tents are available ,nocouple rooms, It is a lake side camp,so there are water activities like kayaking and swimming.
Best season to visit there is winter and monsoon.you will really love the atmosphere..

Authentic place surrounded with Nature...Had taken package for one day which includes Food, accommodation, Adventure activity, Bonfire and water sport activity....You can visit this place any time but most recommend time is manasoon where this place covered with heavy Rain fall and you can enjoy the authentic view of nature with hill during rainy season...It's so far from city so you can reach either with 4 Wheeler or 2 wheelar....I like the Bunker of this palace which includes 8 bed and it's is in the grond where it cover with soil and tree from upper level...Great place must visit with group of people to get maximum fun...Rated 5 out of 5....

Excellent campsite with great stay, food and outdoor activity facilities. While professionally managed, they still have a very friendly and warm approach to guests. The rooms are clean and the washrooms are well maintained. It is difficult getting there from Mumbai or Lonavala but once you get there you won't regret the journey.

One of the best place to camp. Lots of fun activities. It's like 65-70km from lonavala.
