Kopatti Trekking Point

Not many people come here. So its not overhyped. It has everything. The trek route starts with concrete roads later in cool shady forest then comes a huge grassland to the top. The view from above is just magnificent! Try to start the trek early as it may be too sunny when u reach the last part of your trek which is the grassland! We started at 11:30am or 12pm and reached the top at about 2:30pm. It was way too sunny. But beautiful. Localites are very friendly. You will come across fresh green farms before starting the trek! There are small waterfalls in between. You can fill your waterbottles there. Or wash your face. It's so fresh and cool. But be careful with leeches. Try to walk on stones where there is water. Perfect place to go along with friends😊

One of my best trekking experience was kopatti trek... Must one for nature lovers... Leeches are large in number, Mandatory wear good trekking shoe or a sports shoe and have medications, food and water, check out photos for ones who wanna have a sight of nature up hill and on trail..

Truly a hidden gem... The trek is mostly through lush dense forest and takes some elementary skills. Always the locals around

When I went there it was closed, I went there on 25th march 2022. The trek starts form inside the forest department campus. So call them or go in the group with on of the websites who organizes them.

One of the best trekking point in kodagu district. Must visit if you want to seek adventure.
