Shree Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial - Historical Museum

What a fantastic place to know about maratha history. Really appreciable Mr. Raj Thackeray works by placing these types of smarak at Nashik. All the swords, equipment and other war things are real and paintings are very realistic showing the information about the great King of the Maratha Empire. As I am a history lover, I will definitely visit this place.

It is an wonderful place with historic museum. The park is well maintained and entry fee is rs 20, 5rs extra for parking. The museum consists of collection of Shiv Kalin swords. Their is also a guide their to explain the importance of swords.
The overall experience was wonderful. I loved this place very much. Everyone should visit it with respect to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The most suitable respect paid to mananiya Balasaheb by Rajeaheb Thackeray by raising this arms museum of Maratha historical time. Very nice oil painting inside along with variety of swords and other weapons.

An elephant placed between the museum is seems to be realistic and last very cleaniness and peace environment is maintained, all the security guards work fine and kind.

This is a very wonderful museum...you feel proud after seeing the things related to history...you must go here to see the history related to our culture....

Great place to visit if you want to kill a couple of hours. Well maintained, good parking. Do ensure that you request the guide to tour you as she reveals some interesting details about the weapons displayed.

Nice place.. ancient swords displayed also liked the life size elephant statue.

It has a beautifully maintained garden... Clean premises... Staff was polite... And a good drive in space for parking...
It opens at 9.00am and has an entry fee.... Wish it opened earlier.

Great place to experience Maratha history through antique weapons, paintings, artefacts, sculptures. All set in a beautiful landscaped environment. Perfect place to visit on weekend for all age groups particualry families with kids students, all. Learning , relaxation and recreation in beautiful natural setting.....

Good collection of Swords and one surprise mini laser show of Shivaji Maharaj.
Clean and nicely maintain Garden.Ample space for parking.

Best historical place every thing is kept od shivaji maharajas times

a great smarak to watch in nashik on 19th feb 2020 or around there is 7 - 8 ft bhavani talwar is going to form thats the great event going to held in here..

many swords and dhal are displayed in here
many couch in the main hall to sit around and great structural things to enter the light.

Nice place. Fresh ambiance. But if you are expecting too much then it wont satisfy you. There is some swords and shields(dhaal) only in the name of ancient artillery.

This smarak is the place where you will get a feel of Bravery as there are paintings of the Janta Raja Chatrapati shivaji maharaj and as there is also a well mainatined garden area is available so that families can visit with their children and as it is located into the city easy to reach there Gnagapur Road Pumping Station
