Awesome place dense forest

Few points

This is not a single place as in this google pin but its mainly for reference

Very green dense forest with lot of trees and nice scenic road

Road is well maintained and traffic is minimal so good for scenic ride, but need to be careful at turns

Very scenic and adventurous ride for 50-60 kms over dense ride

In between there are view points, streams and waterfalls( based on season like during rains ) within 4-5 kms trek into jungle from road, but be sure to check with local guide/people before any trek(Can get lost or safety with wild animals)

Be sure to have enough fuel(if driving) and water/snacks as rare to find many eateries, and no petrol stations in between

Can spot small animals like fox, peacock, rabbit, snakes, some birds etc

UNESCO World Heritage.

Travel in Time 100 million years ago, the time for first ever mansoon rain after birth of Sahyadri mountain range.

Full of bio diversity.

Please be careful of wild animals. Avoid going alone. Avoid travel at night. Don't go without proper planning and assistance. Be careful in rains on slippery slops, You my fall straight into the deep valley. Be careful while diving into the river or booting or campaigning. Avoid footwear with flat sole. Drive slow. Carry alliw necessary equipment and gears.

Carry enough food and water.
Enjoy the beauty but be alert.

Peaceful, beautiful, colorful, green, forest.
A Gem of Goa.

The experience was amazing driving in between dense forest. You can hear birds and insects sound satisfying. The road is also very good which makes the drive comfortable. But you need to be very careful driving in curvy ghat roads.

Very good place, cool temperature, good place to enjoy with family and kids. Deep forest, should listen to the chirps of birds instead of making noise & shouting. There is a view point in the forest & is awesome to view our western ghats. Let all of us save our mother nature instead of having it destroyed for our own wishes. Let all of us protest against the government those who thinks of making of roads & flyovers through Western ghats to link towards goa & other places.
