Spacious, plenty of paid parking space, not air-conditioned. Located right across the Pekalongan Town Square.

Java old mosque always mesmerizing. Big hall inside, wood column, big door and windows all made by wood. Not only a place to “talk” with god but also place to learn some great quality architecture.

This old great mosque (masjid jami') is one of the greatest mosques in Central Java with huge wooden pillars, windows and doors inside.
Located accross the Alun-Alun (town square) with lots of traditional food stalls (garang asem, lontong lemprak) near Batik Kampoong, this place becomes a cool and cozy place for visitors to rest and pray before eat and shop...

It is a mosque. Located right in front of the town square. They provide 'mukena' for women to borrow. You wear it to cover all your body from head to toe except for your face when you pray.
