Leuser Ketambe Guesthouse

The rooms are not fancy but are standard for the area and we found our stay to be very comfortable overall. We enjoyed our stay at Musa’s lodge which he runs with his lovely family very much. This lodge is the only one actually in the park, it is in between beautiful forest and along the river. We saw orangutans on the property during our stay.
Musa was friendly and helpful and we especially enjoyed a beautiful dinner with other guests and his family. We had already booked taxi and trekking with a separate company but Musa offers the same services and has many years experience trekking.

Pure nature, homemade, traditional food, lots of wildlife

Отличный отель. За 300 получаем белоснежные чистейшие хлопковые простыни и пододеяльник, что для страны редкость, 2 тумбочки, зеркало, стул, современный ТВ, кондиционер, и к сожалению, отсутствие горячей воды, но она и так достаточно тёплая из душа. Думаю это лучшее предложение в Бланг Пиди. В стоимость номера также входит завтрак, вполне съедобный шведский стол с парой-тройкой блюд, чаем-кофем и бананом на десерт.

Ini lokasi yang cukup bagus untuk bersantai, istirahat dengan tingkat keamanan yang cukup. Lokasi tidak jauh dari sungai alas yang merupakan sungai terbesar dan terpanjang di Aceh Tenggara, selain indah sungai ini juga bisa di gunakan menyalurkan hobi mancing kamu yang sudah lama terpendam, tentu target tangkapan di lokasi ini adalah ikan jurung yang juga merupakan ikan paling mahal.

Stayed in the guesthouse and did the jungle trekking with Mus (host)

Jungle trekking was nice, saw orangutans and more, and the food was great.
The room was basic, with a nice view. The food here was also great.

Sadly the place is not really taking care of. We arrived here and the rooms were very simple, no bed sheets, no warm water, no cellphone connection.. food was very good but quite expensive. Paint, garding and more passion about the place would make it way better. Leaving was also quite a challenge no local bus and had to hitch hike.. 3 stars for the guesthouse.

The jungle trekking was extraordinary, did the 3 day tour which was so impressive. Speedy and jeff really took care of everything, from showing us around, spotting orang utangs to great food and a campsite directly at the water. Thanks for the amazing jungle adventure, next time 5 days and even depper to spot more wildlife. 5 stars for the jungle experience.

Charming hotel run by a really sweet family. The location was just what we wanted (outside of town) and the owners brother took us on a great trek. The hotel is a little run down, and could use a deep clean. Overall great value and location. Would totally go back.
