M Box Hotel

Great party hostel with events every day. Free dinner is a big plus. Standard in terms of cleanliness is what you expect from a big hostel. Would stay there again

M Box is great fun - prime party hostel in good location, decent rooms and great service. The pool and free dinners is a nice bonus. Reps Ellen, Eliza, Maddie?* and all the Indonesian guys were really attentive and enthusiastic throughout our stay.

As a solo traveller I am so happy I came to this Hostel. The staff and reps go above & beyond to ensure you feel included and their vibes are next to none! They take you out for wholesome activities as well and partying and you cannot help but feel like you're apart of a family right away.

Food & drinks service was great, rooms were clean, comfy and had good aircon and the bathrooms were clean too and in good working order.

If you're looking for a great laugh, free family dinners, some nice day activities and non stop dancing, come here!

Me and my girlfriend had an excellent stay here in a private room. Room was luxurious and all the staff were very helpful and easy going. Also, hostel is very social so you’ll make a lot of friends but if you want a chil day by yourself it’s also possible. Last but not least, you have to meet Ikky aka “Son of God”. He will make sure that you’ll have a good time here!

Went on a solo trip in one of the hardest time of my life to find myself again. Also it was my very first hostel experience hahaha met so many diff people from all around the world and had an amazing time! I’ll be back soon xx miss all em party animals!

Great hostel. Super social, great free dinners and affordable drinks. Close to everywhere you want to be on the island. Hosts Billie and Lili were the best. Would recommend!

Really good vibe and crowd here, good events like family dinner and going for boat rides. I visited many other hostels and they were emptish or just lacking the social vibe. All of the staff seemed nice, volunteers were so nice. There was another hostel, Atlas, where you could not say the same about volunteers.

Best place to stay in Gili T!! Pictures don’t do it justice! We arrived here after our air bnb turned out to be a scam and had to quickly find somewhere else. Staff were so quick with helping us book 2 private rooms last minute and we were so surprised how luxurious the hostel was! The pool was super clean, food was delicious and cheap( salads were washed with bottled water which was so comforting!) , there was activities on every night if you wanted to join in but also was relaxed enough that if you wanted to chill you could ! Great deals on alcoholic drinks too.

The staff were so welcoming and invited us to their bar on the beach which was also so fun. The best part was the rooms, we stayed in private rooms so I can’t speak for the hostel rooms but the A/C was great, interior was very modern and the duvet and pillows were so comfy !! Thank you so much guys.

Absolutely loved our time at M box, originally booked 3 night and extended by another 2 because we were having such a good time! If you want a social hostel this would be perfect for you, great atmosphere, super inviting and everyone is really friendly. Special shout out to G and Iki for 10/10 vibes all day and night! Out of all the hostels I’ve been to, M box was easily the best- it was clean, the beds were comfy and the atmosphere was great. Especially being a solo traveller, the reps made my experience; Sam, Lucas and Issy were very welcoming when I arrived and always up for a chat (or a boogie), Maddie was and absolute legend in general but particularly when she sprinted to the pharmacy for me when I hurt myself (and watch out for her and Asher’s dance moves because their routine will blow you away). Ikki, Tiger and Budi always made me laugh and I had such a good time with Jakob and Sam; I could always rely on them for good company. I only spent a couple of days with Caitlin but she was very upbeat and knows how to party! I enjoyed my stay so much I ended up staying double the amount of time I originally intended and wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you M box ❤

Amazing service, perfect location, really friendly staff, decently priced drinks and good food, rooms are decent whether you get a private dorm or a regular one. Definitely would reccomend 10/10.

Best hostel I have stayed in! The general vibes were so fun, the reps were great, the free food was yum and the rooms were perfect. We even extended our stay!

Really good experience. Friendly staff- Jamie was super helpful and set up great activities every evening. Clean room and pool, easy to hire bikes. Fresh breakfast, we ate scrambled eggs and toast every morning. Highly recommend.

Needed a last minute room after we got scammed on airbnb - M box came to the rescue. We got a private double room with en-suite for a very reasonable price which was lovely and clean and a really comfy bed. Pool area was nice to chill in the day and they had a good menu selection of food and drinks which was all very reasonable. The staff were really friendly and sociable. Would defo recommend if looking for somewhere to stay in gili t :)

From pizza dinners to card games and beerpong, there’s something for everyone

I loved my stay at this hostel. It is perfect for solo travelers as well as those in a group. The dorm rooms are terrific because there are no bunk beds! Booked only one night ended up staying 4. It’s a really social hostel but not too wild- mostly everyone predrinks at the hostel then leaves as a group to the bar area. They also offer different trips (like snorkeling) as well as rentals (snorkeling, bike). If you rent a bike be careful! They aren’t the best quality and if they find something broken on them they will charge you. The workers are super friendly locals.

Very modern hostel with small 3 bed dorms and new lockers to set your own code. Nice pool with basketball net, bar (with cheap beer, cocktails etc) and decent (but also cheap food). What's not to like?! There was an incredibly friendly atmosphere throughout, which helps individuals meet others. The staff are regularly cleaning, staffing the bar / kitchen and reception to answer any questions. I had problems with my locker while I was there and even though he was not on site, he was always present within 5 minutes. I loved my stay here and would definitely stay here again should I return to Gilli T.
