Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin Mosque or better known as Sabilal Muhtadin Grand Mosque is a historic mosque located in Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Great mosque with big green outdoor park, very nice to calm the feeling after praying. It also near popular sightseeing of Martapura River Park. Great place to visit in early morning.

Once was known as the most beautiful mosque in southeast asia but now is struggling with maintenance, i think. The fountain now just a mere moldy pool.
But the structure still a great image for Islamic culture. And the mosque itself is epicentrum for Islamic teaching, praying and activity in Banjarmasin
With a proper maintenance it will coming back to its precious grandeur and beauty.
