Pulau macan

Macan Resort was more beautiful than I expected. even the speadboat went directly from Ancol without stopping anywhere else, so it wasn't tiring at all, but, easy access. Especially, the resort manager, Albert, was very helpful :) We really enjoyed this trip more because they were friendly and helped us enjoy the island better. plus, foods were delicious too. I'm planning to visit again next month. Thank you.

I spent a couple of nights at Pulau Macan with my husband and my two-year old daughter. While the place is still beautiful, it is becoming quite obvious that it has been slightly neglected and attention to detail and maintenance has faded away since the original founders have left the island. We often had to look for staff when we wanted to order something, tables were not cleared for hours, general cleanliness could have been better. The local staff are lovely but it is obvious that more training and support could be offered to them by management if the intention is to maintain the great reputation of the place. Overall a nice experience but not enough value for money in my opinion. For this price in an Indonesian context, I would have expected an outstanding experience. Nonetheless, thank you to the local team - my feedback is intended more for management...
