It turns out that in Banyuwangi there are still beaches that we must visit, namely Bama beach. The beach itself is still included in the Baluran Nature Reserve. The condition is still very beautiful and is no less exotic than the beaches in Bali. Here you can also see mangrove forests.

To relax with your family you can enjoy several open spots. The sea water is still clear and not too deep so that children can still play with parents' supervision. You can see coral reefs in various colors with the naked eye. You can also dive to the bottom of the beach to get up close to the coral reefs that are lined up.

Access to the beach is relatively steep so you are expected to wear comfortable footwear. During the trip, there are views of tropical forests and wild birds that you can see.

Bama Beach is administratively located at Jalan Banyuwangi - Situbondo km 35, Wonorejo Village, Banyuputih District, Situbondo Regency, East Java. It is located behind Baluran National Park, so you need to pass through the entrance of the national park to get to Bama Beach. The distance of this beach from the entrance gate is about 8 kilometers or 3 kilometers east of Pos Bekol.

The route traveled
You who come from Banyuwangi can choose to use public transportation or private vehicles or rent to get to Bama Beach. If you use public transportation, you need to take a bus bound for Situbondo from the Ketapang Bus Terminal which takes you to the front gate in Baluran National Park. From the entrance gate, you can rent a motorcycle taxi to get to the beach.

As for those of you who bring your own vehicle, from Banyuwangi City take the direction to Ketapang Harbor. From Ketapang the road continues towards Sidoarjo Regency, until the border you will see an entrance gate to Baluran National Park. Then you can enter Baluran National Park by following the road directions there until you reach Savana Bekol and Bama Banyuwangi Beach.

During the trip from the entrance gate, you will see the beauty of Baluran National Park. You can also meet various types of animals. Among these animals are bulls, leopards, peacocks, coyotes, deer, wild buffalo, and coyotes.

The uniqueness of Banyuwangi Bama Beach
Upon arrival at the beach, you will be presented with the uniqueness of this beach. Among these uniqueness is a herd of long-tailed gray apes who welcome you. Bama Beach is also a place to live a herd of wild animals such as rare birds endemic to East Java and monkeys.

The location of this beach is also unique because it is surrounded by mangrove plants. Once you walk down the path to the west, you can see the beauty of mangrove plants. If you want to see it more closely, then walk towards the bridge of view. The end of the bridge of view is usually used as a fishing spot because of its shady location.

Bama Banyuwangi Beach provides various facilities that can be enjoyed by visitors. On this beach there are food stalls, rest areas, bathrooms, rinse rooms, prayer rooms, to camping ground. In addition, there is also an inn that offers views of the beach in plain sight. For those of you who want to do snorkeling activities, snorkeling equipment rentals are available here.

The Beach hidden in the Baluran National Park offers a tremendous beauty, from here we can rent a fast boat to see the vast piye forests, but we also have to remain vigilant and careful of the sea water, waves and keep our children always if playing in the Beach.

But please be aware of monkeys. Don't let your belongings out of your sight as they will try to snap them, especially foods and drinks.

Hidden beach inside Baluran National park

Done my research here. How could i not say it's beautiful? I mean, this whole place is too beautiful

Nice road to this place, speed 80kmh with car with carefully from opposite, nice riding with motorcycle. Be carefull for the a lot monkey.
