What a Homestay!! I am speechless. I stayed for 10 nights there and it was incredible. The food, the diving and people there, were just amazing.
Even the snorkeling in the housereef was amazing.
Anis the divemaster is also a very nice guy.
If you want to have a great time in raja ampat, book your homestay there.

Absolutely loved staying at Kordiris Homestay. Quaint huts on the crystal clear blue water. Great meals provided and well organized diving. Lucy and Cornelius are so kind and helpful. I hope to come back one day to stay for another two weeks! Deserves a 5 star rating!

A beautiful location, with the corals just below the huts. You can follow the marine life from your porch. The owners are very relaxed, easy going and have a good english. They can helpmyou with shopping and planning. The food was on a better side compare to other homestays - we got eggs for breakfast and fish/prawns/chicken with rice/fries for lunch and dinner. You can pay everything with credit card. The electricity runs from 6pm up to midnight.
The diving was also perfect (we were only one couple and a divemaster) - we were free to pick any locations we want, easy to change depending on weather. And the price was faboulus as well - you have even a discount if you take 10 dives - final price was then only 360 000 per dive (own equipment). The diving boat was very simple so not very comfortable, but there are plenty of great spots nearby: Mike's point, Blue Magic, Cape Kri, Chicken reef, Five rocks, Friwen wall, Mambarayup - all within 10-20 min by boat.

Nice homestay on a beautiful location. Jump in the water with your snorkel and you can see so many things already, like sharks and squid. Diving was fun too! Lots of good dive-sites nearby and we saw 4 manta’s on our first dive, just 10 minutes from the homestay. And Dewa, the host, is great!

A gem in the rough, we found this place from the Raja Ampat Homestay binder at our other homestay on Kri Island in Raja Ampat. Kordiris Homestay started up in 2011 and is on Gam Island. While its immediate waters in front of the Homestay office/kitchen/common area building hut may be lacking in having significant coral walls for snorkeling the waters are very clear at this time of year in November and the pricing very affordable for Raja Ampat compared to the numerous and expensive liveaboards. Private bungalows are set @ 350 000 IDR and shared standard rooms @ 300 000 IDR. All private bungalows either on land or off the adjacent jetty are 350 000 IDR and are simple with a small table, elevated bed and mattress with mosquito/insect net and bamboo floor rug with outdoor veranda. Toilets and showers are housed outside with water taps and use plastic water cans and pots to bathe and use the toilet.

No hammocks were available at this time but there are many places to hang one either on your veranda or along the adjacent white sand beach in a small sheltered bay.

The homestay has an in house dive centre with rental equipment for hire where dives including equipment are set @ 500 000 IDR for nearby dive sites that within 30 minutes or less. Day trips can be arranged as well as other excursions on land however pricing varies depending on how many people can share the boat hire cost to the desired locations. Boat hire can be quite expensive in Raja Ampat if trying to do it as a couple or soloist so consolidating a group is best if you want to save money.

I brought a group of 7 nights here, and the place was quiet. The food is plenty and very tasty. The service is very good, friendly, polite. My guests are very satisfied with this service. Two moms in the kitchen always make us laugh, I love it. Thank you very much. My brothers Ambar, Anis and Lusi. Next year I'll be back again.

Absolutely great place. Beautiful, good food and helpful hosts. Scenery is stunning and there were not many mosquitos or other insects.

Magical experience in Raja Ampat. When talking to other people at home stays it is clear that Kodiris is a jewel. No rats like the other islands, wonderful family that has run the place for generations and simply just a paradise on earth

Una bellissima esperienza che ricorderemo per sempre! Abbiamo soggiornato presso Kordiris Homestay per 4 notti e non potevamo fare scelta migliore.. Dista poco meno di un'ora da Waisai, dove si sbarca col traghetto proveniente da Sorong. Arrivando in barca dal mare ti accorgi subito di quanto sia bellissimo questo posto: acqua cristallina, sabbia bianca, fitta vegetazione di palme, qualche canino che corre sulla spiaggia, amache ovunque e soprattutto le palafitte sull'acqua (6 + 1 in costruzione) e il pontile! Lusi, la sua famiglia e tutti i ragazzi sono gentilissimi e sempre sorridenti, si danno un sacco da fare e fanno sempre del loro meglio per soddisfare i bisogni di tutti. Le capanne sono pulite,il materasso è sempre coperto da una zanzariera e all'arrivo ci sono anche due grossi asciugamani per la doccia. I bagni e le docce sono in comune e in stile indonesiano, quindi non si può essere schizzinosi! C'è la possibilità di farsi lavare anche i vestiti in lavatrice, a pagamento. La corrente nella sala comune è quasi sempre disponibile, nelle singole capanne invece si accende circa alle 7pm fino a mezzanotte. Il cibo è buonissimo (colazione+pranzo+cena sono compresi nella quota del soggiorno / caffè e tè sempre disponibili) e c'è la possibilità di organizzare diverse escursioni (nei luoghi intorno e anche più distanti, per esempio per l'escursione a Pianyemo che abbiamo fatto noi è necessario circa1 ora e mezzo di barca) insieme ai ragazzi che ti accompagnano sempre. Possibilità di fare snorkeling e diving con noleggio attrezzatura. FATEVI PORTARE PERCHÉ È UNO SPETTACOLO UNICO! Consiglierei una volta lì di non farsi prendere dalla pigrizia e dal troppo relax e fare almeno 2/3 escursioni (i prezzi sono piuttosto bassi e si può condividere l'escursione con altri villeggianti per dividere le spese/si rientra sempre prima del tramonto e per le escursioni che prendono tutta la giornata c'è sempre il pranzo a sacco). Armatevi di macchina fotografica, Action cam subacquea, costume da bagno, crema ad alta protezione, maschera e pinne e nient'altro e vivrete un'esperienza fantastica! È stato bellissimo soggiornare a Kordiris Homestay!!! Ciao a tutti

12月末に一週間滞在しました。夜は結構強い雨が降っていましたが、滞在期間中の日中はほとんど晴れで、強い風や波もなく、毎日午前と午後1時間くらいスノーケリングで楽しみました。ハウスリーフではたくさんの種類の魚が観察でき、大物にこだわらなければ、ダイビングでなくても十分楽しめます。初日にはフリウェンで2ダイブしましたが、透明度は雨のためかあまりよくなく、群れをなして泳ぐ魚はハッキリ見えないものもありました。潮の干満の差が大きく浅瀬は歩いてサンゴや小魚を観察することもできます。バンガローからはマンスールやクリも見え、景色を見ながら食事をとり、ゆったりした時間を過ごせました。どこから来たのか、バンガロー近くの木の上で食事をするクスクスも見ることができました。是非また訪れたいです。

Superbe Homestay, chambre confortable, les cabanes au dessus de l’eau sont juste magnifique, avec hamacs à disposition ! L’endroit parfait pour chiller après un bon Road trip !
Le snorkeling y est pas mal du tout ! Nous avons observé et nager avec des bébés requins pointe noir!

Sehr schöner Homestay. Es gibt leckeres Essen und gut organisierte Tauchgänge. Das Equipment ist intakt und Falles es doch einmal Mängel vorweist kann man es jederzeit austauschen. Die Bungalows sind sehr gemütlich!
