Logband Cozy Resto & Bakery Waisai

Logbond Cozy is the best restaurant in Raja Ampat and much more. Maria serves amazing meals - try the melt in your mouth butter fried fish and prawns or the tempura chicken. She had a cooking school in Surabaya and her baking is even better than her meals. Her homemade cookies are not to be missed. When your appetite is sated, they can arrange for drivers, scooters, accommodation and they even organised medical help for us. Maria and her son Marcel speak English very well and seem to know everyone in Waisai. If you’re in Waisai, it is a short walk from the ferry terminal to Logbond Cozy for a coffee, fresh juice, slice of cake or a fabulous meal. Definitely worth it!

Super friendly, hearty ower. The food was awesome, it was late and they kept the kitchen open for me.

Highly recommended and i will go tomorrow again.

Best food I had in Indonesia!

I went here after a diving trip to Raja Ampat on my last day on the island before catching the ferry back in May 2023.

I had a grand feast here thanks to our dive centre which was just across the road.

The restaurant has an indoor as well as outdoor seating in the mangroves with crabs and fish scurrying about in the water and a lovely view.

The food is exquisite and each dish is freshly prepared with local ingredients.
I had not eaten so much in years.

If I remember correctly, I had butter prawns, spinach, rice, tempura chicken and some more fish in a delicious sauce.

Do not miss this hidden gem if you are travelling to Raja Ampat.

I also got some cheese biscuits and cookies from the bakery which were delicious.

Highly recommended for the lovely food and family atmosphere. It will satisfy your appetite after weeks of diving.

I had to wait for some time and their son kept us company and educated us about the islands and conservation too.

Best meals we have had in Indonesia! This is the consensus of the 9 people in our group (adults and preteen children) that came in on the dinghy dock. Lots of great choices from the menu that was previously posted, plus and additional menu page and specials board. Everyone found something to their liking whether beef, chicken, pork or seafood or vegetables or fries. Great cook and host that was easy to communicate with, and clean indoor or outdoor seating! We are going back again tomorrow. Let me not forget about all the homemade cookie and cake treats we bought on the way out the door for eating back on the boat.

This restaurant is awesome! Fabulous owners! Not only did they serve delicious food but helped us with everything from laundry to provisioning. Our kids did homeschooling in their air conditioned restaurant while we were in Waisai. They also have a jetty they let us tie our dingy up to. Great mother & son team. Son also teaches English at the local school.
Extensive yummy menu & great baked goods available too. Highly recommend!

We’re staying at the Meridian Resort nearby, and had passed this place several times. We had dived and snorkeled with Olin Dive Center, and on our last day, Ibu Olga from Olin brought us here for lunch, since it’s across the street from her dive shop.

We ate lunch on the deck they have in the back with a view of the mangrove on one side and the bay on the other. The food was so good that we decided to come back for dinner. Ibu Olga had very kindly brought a live lobster for our dinner since it was our last dinner in Raja Ampat, and Ibu Maria expertly prepared it with a butter, garlic, ginger and chili sauce. We also ordered the chili crab, which they catch fresh out back, and had the Kangkung (a vegetable dish recommended by Ibu Maria). Everything was incredibly delicious, and so reasonably priced. We ate dinner in their air-conditioned dining room, which was quite nice.

The restaurant at Meridian is excellent, but Longbond Cozy was a great alternative, and quite close.

The owner cooked her self, so the taste of the food was delicious. I ordered fish with fermented soybean and stir fry vegetables.. So yummy.. The best food in Waisai is here. Thank you Mrs. Maria and family..

This is an amazing family run restaurant. The food is delicious and their fresh juice hits the spot! The prices are very reasonable and they have a beautiful patio on the water. They also have homemade cakes which is the perfect way to end your meal. Highly recommend this place.

Food was really tasty and the staff were super friendly!

We arrived by boat at Waisai in the afternoon, 3 weeks ago. It was very hot. After a dingy ride to the harbour, we went off exploring, hoping to find somewhere to have a bite for lunch! We thought we'd have to walk some miles; we came across this delightful restaurant and bakery, with a tantalising sign on the door. OPEN and airconditoned....it was like stumbling across an oasis in the desert 😊
There were 10 or 11 of us, warmly welcomed by Marcel and Maria, who served us with refreshing cold drinks and a selection of delicious Indonesian meals although I think a couple enjoyed tasty looking burgers.
We also purchased some of Maria's tasting baking (some for the boat and some to take back to family in England).
Thank you both for your superb hospitality, your friendship and kindness to our family. We will NEVER forget you both 🙏💞💐

This was one of the best places I have eaten during two months in Indonesia! The butter prawns were delicious and nasi goreng seafood also ..and I have some cookies to take home 😁 owners are lovely too and one day I hope to come back and sit outside to eat grouper and watch the sunset! And thanks for the ride! 😁

My favorite restaurant in Indonesia. Try the crab (real crab fresh from the mangroves), the catfish and the papaya (so sweet from their garden). Family owned restaurant with great service in English, clean and covid-appropriate. Great views. Didn't take a good picture before but you can see we ate everything 😂

Had the most amazing lunch here! Ordered the chili crab, tempura chicken, water spinach(kang kung), and ofcourse rice. Everything was delicous! The crab was largest crab I have ever eaten and it was incredible!

There is outside dinning which would be amazing at sunset as it overlooks the mangroves and the sea.

This place is so nice! Very comfortable and affordable rooms. A very relaxed place to wake up to and chill.

Amazing family very helpful. It was such a nice way to start Raja that I stopped on the way back on the way out.

Let me tell you about the food. It is cooked with love and is so tasty! Very much recommend eating or staying here. Super close to the ferry terminal and diving centre.

Also how could I forget they have the real deal amazing coffee beans! Very tasty little treat on the road.

Family accommodation. I received courteous and excellent service. Excellent English speakers. I stayed for two nights and they helped me with everything I needed (laundry even though they don't offer laundry services, they drove me to the ATM and pharmacy when I needed it). They also took me to eat with them at local restaurants. Maria is an excellent cook, and prepares the most delicious food. The room was clean and pleasant, excellent air conditioning. Amazing family run restaurant where you feel at home. Good food and great English speakers who are exceptionally helpful with all things local.

Great choice tourists. Might even say that this is one of the only choices for tourist/diver friendly menu, cleanliness, location and Bintang. I stayed at an overpriced resort nearby and this was the only choice within a mile either direction. Plus friendly, family business that speaks excellent English. Outdoor seating on water available for awesome sunset.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at logbond. A family business of which “mum” cooks her recipes that really tasted so well. Can only highly recommend to build a meal here when visiting. Having stayed at Meridian Adventure this dinner outing - but they open for lunch too - was a super welcoming change .
