Most beautiful spots for diving I've ever seen. All the people working at the resort and dive center are helpful, friendly and professional. The accommodation is wonderful and always clean, the food and snacks (you can get at any time) are delicious... Not to forget the sea center, which is educating the next generation of local guides and taking care of the dive sites. We had an unforgettable experience at Papua Explorers and want to thank all the people working there.

A Snorkelling Paradise. This is a dive resort but we spent our week here to snorkel. They accommodated us very well and provided a snorkelling guide on each of our excursions. The reefs are spectacular, the variety of fish, turtles, mantas, and so much more marine life was awesome.

The facility is top notch and very cultural. We loved that it wasn’t a commercial chain but rather a unique Indonesian-style atmosphere with all the comforts, attentive staff, and great food. Sunrises and sunsets never disappoint. This is indeed a snorkelers paradise!

We celebrated our honeymoon at this resort as we both are passionate divers and we had an incredible experience! The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable diving adventure. The resort's facilities were top-notch, and the stunning underwater world right at our doorstep made every dive unforgettable. The well-organized excursions, combined with comfortable accommodations, created a perfect getaway. I highly recommend this resort to fellow diving enthusiasts – a truly five-star destination!

Raja Ampat is a good model for conservation and Papua Explorers did its part. It is interesting that corals can still do well in high temperatures here. Apo runs a tight ship and the divers are professional. Seeing how the resort involves and supports the local community is encouraging. Vegetables garden effort is nice. Owner is engaging. Recommended.

We had an incredible time at Papua Explorers. Everything was perfect from the time we arrived. Rooms are eco-friendly and reef-safe toiletries were provided. It was a little warm to sleep at night, but the second fan certainly helped to cool us down. Room chalets are over water, providing a serene view to wake up to.

Dive boats and staff are professionally taken care of, we are only 6 to a boat. Special mention to our guides Apri and Timo for a wonderful experience underwater.

And the hospitality! From the housekeeping, to the kitchen staff, we felt most at home. We are spoiled with snacks and food after every dive.
The meals served are diverse and always something for anyone. We couldn't find fault with our stay.

The diving was incredible, and our guide Marten showed us amazing attention. He would point out creatures we never would have noticed and gave me advice to extend my dives as my skills improved through the week. Our boat captain Aten was a blast all week too!
The hospitality team at the resort, especially the dining crew Yogi, Johan, Lydia, and Sri gave us such wonderful and consistent service throughout our stay. Everyone talks about the diving, but their work is really what put things over the top.

My parents and I had past a wonderful dive holiday here, the resort even presented us dive monitor Iklas who can speak Chinese who is so nice with us. Also our dive Herman is very relieable and patient. We had our best dive experience here(especially the dive site cape kri),and also had possibility to do bird seeing and kayak.From the airport to resort, everything is well organized. The team is very nice and responsable. I wish see them again:)

This place is absolutely perfect. From the wonderful greeting the minute you get off the boat, to the kind farewell, every single moment is perfect. The staff is incredible, the room is comfortable, the view is gorgeous, and the food is delicious. I am gluten and lactose intolerant and they made sure every meal there was something wonderful for me to eat, even making a special GF/LF cake so I could join in at the 4 o'clock tea and cake hour. 🥰 And don't get me started on the diving. We had an incredible experience diving. The dive guides were so kind and caring and the dive sites were outstanding. We can't wait to come back!

This is hands-down, the BEST resort in Raja Ampat. We took our 11 and 13 year old kids on their first dive trip and it was incredible. I felt completely a safe having them dive here.

The staff at this resort are fantastic. Apo, the manager, is so professional and helpful. They really go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and have an enjoyable holiday.

Just awesome! The experience exceeded my expectations by far. Great bungalows, great food, super friendly stuff, incredible diving experience. The manager - Apo - is a role model of a perfect resort manager. Usually each good place has some minor glitches and it is expected, but Papua Explorers din't have any during the week I stayed there. Everything is well-thought and polished. Diving 3-4 times a day, snorkeling out of a private bungalow deck, massage, great rooms, room service twice a day, no mosquitoes, no sand flies, the diving equipment is washed by the stuff and prepared for the next dives, all diving trips are prompt on time and well structured, etc.. It felt like 7 days in paradise.

Only one simple word can really describe my stay there : perfect! From the very beginning to the end. The staff is super friendly, competent and helpful. Apo, the manager, and his family are super welcoming, you feel home as soon as you put your foot on their jetty, and then your dream holidays can start.
The location of the resort is amazing, you can easily from the jetty do diving, snorkeling, paddle and so much more.
For diving the experienced staff can also bring you to all the famous spots of Raja Ampat, I did almost 20 dives there, all of them in another spot and all of them were just superb.
Equipment is well maintained, food is delicious, I can just strongly recommend this place to everyone.

Dream place to be! We just had the best holiday in years thanks to Papua Explorers. Incredibly nice staff, perfect location and wonderful planning with boats including organized arrival and departures. We ate delicious and healthy food three times a day with fresh produce and varied menus each day. Beautiful papuan style bungalows with comfortable beds and great housekeeping. We loved the extra activities like the massages and day trips and even got extra help for small things we needed. Regarding diving: insane diving with really good guides who take care of you and show you animals, making sure the conditions suit your level, super boat crew helping with gear, really good quality rental gear without problems. The staff was really smiling all the time. Keep up the great work Papex, I will definitely recommend you to all my friends ☺

Amazing dive resort located in paradise on earth! Top level service and the best diving experience ever! Each dive is another adventure. If you want to see documentary level marine life you must come and visit Papua Explorers!

Amazing quality. Warm staff, hospitality. Best resort in this area. Very comfortable, large, clean bungalows on the water. Amazing food mixture of local and World cousin. I have spent 2 incredible weeks and also 1 week on their cruise ship, Coralia. Best of best!

Unforgettable holidays!!Papua Explorers is a wonderful place to feeling in the Paradise. If you would like to have an unforgettable days, this is a great place to have them. We have a little baby (14 mo) and the team of Papua Explorer did everything possible to help us to organize our stay with them, although a priori, a baby+diving holidays don’t seem easy. Always very helpful, answering very fast to all of our concerns, organizing every single detail of our stay with them from the first to the last minute. Very experienced divers, know every corner of Raja Ampat and very patients if you are a worried diver with currents (as I am). The resort is really nice and respectful with the environment. I can only have good words to this place. I hope we can visit them again at anytime .

Me and my wife stayed at Papua Explorers for two weeks and the resort is amazing. They will help you from arrival at the airport untill your first step in your spacious bungalow and of course during your whole stay. The team is incredible friendly, very helpful and always charming, the western and turkish inspired food is incredible tasty.

Diving is great there of course! The dive team, guides and captain know exactly what they're doing and you feel safe even in strong currents because they brief well and take care of you. The free Nitrox is a game changer for more than two dives a day and we were very happy to dive with Nitrox. And the marine life is incredible because the guides can show you from big fish to small pygmy seahorses everything.

We will highly recommend the resort and can only recommend to stay with them!
