The most amazing thing about this homestay is the friendly service and caretakers and the feeling of family. They really are the best kind of people here. The other amazing thing is the reef right in front of the home stay is world class and better than any I’ve ever seen before. The rooms could use some renovation but it’s not that bad and I still really enjoyed our stay. I will definitely be coming back. Just remember to bring your own snacks and beer and soap and other things as amenities are limited here. Think of it like a camping experience. They provide foundation things and you bring the rest. For the price this place is well worth it. You can spend double or triple at a nicer homestay but really youll just be getting a few extra amenities so whether it’s worth the additional cost or not is up to you. But overall I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it to divers coming to raja ampat looking for a chill and friendly place to call their home away from home for a few days.

I stayed for 3 nights here after travelling from other islands in other homestay. First time that I had a good night sleep as the room I had has aircond and fan and spring mattress. The room costs 950000rupiahs per night for 2 people including breakfast lunch dinner. The dive masters Eles (who is the owner of the place), Ais and Peter, they all are very good DM with good local knowledge. This place was here when I was here 7 years ago and survived covid period. Food is good, the family are really nice people, we even got shown and guided by Chris the skipper in Waisai to get to the ferry without which we would be very lost. So I hope this place will keep improving and do more repairs on some leaking roofs. They also do need someone to manage the place better I gotta admit. So Sarah would be a good person to do it when she's back there as she's a good value to the place.

I have dived for 4 days with Yenkoranu in September 2023. I was initially unsure, they had no websites and not much information available in the internet.

However, I was totally surprised how good they are. I felt comfortable with them right from the first drive, their guides are extremely experienced and they time and control everything perfectly underwater. They know every dive spot that you can think of in Raja Ampat.

The other point for me is that they treat you as family and friend, not as a customer. There was a day where we searched for mantas in 3 different spots far from each other without success. They spent certainly lots of fuel, but didn't charge any extra just for that. In Arborek I had a very different and not satisfying experience. In Yenkorau they all have a good spirit and positive mood, you realize that they have fun with what they do and do not just work because they must.

If you are planning about diving in Kri, GO WITH THEM!!!

Great homestay with Dive resort!
Diving was fun and affordable, they have two boats with canopy so you are out of the sun. Between dives we stopped on a beautiful island for lunch and Peter and his crew harvested and opened fresh coconuts for the guests!

Nice common area for watching sunsets and meeting other travelers!

Exceded our expectations! Beautiful
homestay with a large common area to meet and hang with other travelers. The food was very tasty and plenty. Rooms basic but also much better than we expected for the raja ampat standards (we booked VIP 1 wooden bungalows). The diving was very well organized and the guides were great to dive with. Always left on time, we did 17 dives at 16 different reefs. They prepare your equipment capably, know the reefs and guide you through the currents which can be quite strong. We've had a great time at Yenkoranu and would certainly book again!

I did a lot of research on other homestays before I booked Yenkoranu and I am so glad I booked this one... All around RA will be basic, this is a basic accomodation but very comfortable. I booked the VIP room, despite other comments I have never seen any bugs in my room - only mosquitos, ghekos and one spider on the last day. I actually have a big phobia of spiders and I was absolutely fine. I was very scared before as I read about a tarantula in a room but there's no tarantulas in the island, so don't believe all you read. The room also had a western toilet and a net over the bed, there was an actual bed, not just mattress on the floor so I felt really comfy and not worried about bugs during the night.

I spent most time in the dinning area, they have bean bags over by the restaurant with stunning views over the sea, sunsets are gorgeous here. The food is very basic, so bring snacks if you like but keep them in their fridge in the dinning are to avoid any animals in your room.

Now to the best part, the diving is out of this world, even from the jetty you can see so much marine life, including sharks... The snorkeling in front of the jetty is one of the best I did. Last but not least, a big thanks to David who is an amazing diving instructor, he organizes the dives and ensures you enjoy the best of RA under the water according to your level so there will always be something extraordinary to see, you can either be an instructor to a complete beginner and he will look after you. I highly recommend this home stay and to dive with David.

One of the best homestay in kri island, get information from the staff, that all the worker who works in this place are actually the local people from Kri Island. In this jetty you can dive or snorkel with good underwater view. You can see a lot of schooling fish. And in the morning they usually give food to the baby shark. Some local said that the shark is tame, but please make sure you are not bleeding when you snorkeling under the jetty. Always keep the place clean, and leave nothing but footprints. Hope to visit this place agaim

Best guides so far. I'm often in complete awe of how they spot the macro. Dove with most guides and all are great.
Homestay was good with a great social area (big). Black tips constantly patrolling under deck. bonus was seeing a manta breach from the wharf. Thanks team.

We had the most amazing first trip to Raja Ampat in Jan/Feb 2024 with the Yenkoranu team who organised the trip with IDiventure.
The three of us could only snorkel and aren't divers. In fact the two of us aren't swimmers but the Yenkoranu team ensures we'd feel safe and enjoy the snorkelling as well as the hiking experience.
In 6D/5N we experienced hiking to both Wayag I and Wayag II, Piaynemo, Telaga Bintang (Star Lagoon), sightseeing in Kabuy Bay, walking from Pulau Kri to Pulau Ransiwor, snorkelling at various spots: Yenbuba, Sauwanderek, Pulau Rufas, Manta Point, Wayag, Friwen Wall, Mioskun, Cape Kri, Pulau Ransiwor, and cendrawasih bird watching at Beser Bay. We also did Kalibiru where we saw cendrawasih.
Everything was run smoothly, the homestay was great, the food was tasty and plentiful, the lounge / dining area was perfect to enjoy a day of rest and relax. The sunset was great and the short blackout on one night gave us a great opportunity to see the (sparkling blue) planktons.

Thank you to the Yenkoranu team (Pak Eles, Pak Amon, and Nando), we wouldn't have a memorable trip without you. Last but not least, thank you to Ibu Monika and her team who took great care of us during our stay there. Terima kasih. Injo nabor.

We miss Raja Ampat already and we look forward to coming back to explore other parts of Raja Ampat that we haven't been to with Yenkoranu in the future.

We did our PADI Advanced Open Water at Yenkoranu and we were blessed with dive instructor Dave (David). He’s the best! He helped us get comfortable after 2 years without a dive, and helped us discover many of the greatest dive sites in the world during and after our course. Thanks, Dave & Yenkoranu!

Nice bar you can rent snorkel and fin or book a trip for a dive. There’re some lion fish and also rief sharks around the pier.
