Warahnus Dive Homestay

I dove with Warahnus many times in April 23, and it was fantastic!! All the saff is 100% Papuan which is great. The owner Bermon do his best to schedule the dives according to tides/weather and your wishes/level. Divemasters are amazing, they know all the spots more than anyone. I felt safe all the time, equipment gear was perfect. Prices are probably the best in the area. The divecenter is not as busy as the others on Kri so don't hesitate and just enjoy to be in a small group with relax vibes and make your own planning ! Besides, the homestay looked like very cool, even I did not stay in it. Thank you again guys, great memories 🙏

It has private bathroom, porch, deck for each bungalows. Can pay with credit card and wise transfer. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Nice house reef.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks to Bernon and his team! Bungalows with ensuite bathroom. They are constantly upgrading as well (terraces for the bungalows as well as other buildings in construction).

Food was delicious, typically rice with a variety of vegetables and chicken or fish. Also had eggs, Tempe and Tofu.

Diving was awesome! Always felt very safe with Chris our dive master. Lot's of cool dive spots close by (or for snorkling). Also saw turtles, reef sharks and more in the house reef :) would definitively book again!

We did not stay at Warahnus homestay but we did dive with them. They offer boat pick up from all over the island so no problem if you do not stay with them (although their accommodation did look very nice and lovely location). Superb dives, of course as this is Raja Ampat! The crew at Warahnus were excellent. Super friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our trip with them. Chris (dive guide) was brilliant. Evidently he has been here for a very long time and knows his way around these reefs as if they were his true home. We had a fabulous time here, only regret is that our trip was not long enough. However long you think you should stay, double that!

AMAZING homestay, the previous reviews are outdated as they completely rebuild the bungalows. Bungalows are really well equipped with private bathroom. The beach is lovely and snorkelling was awesome (sharks, turtles, lots of fishes, beautiful corals…)
The food is as the best we had during our stay 2 weeks stay in Raja Ampat. The owner is really kind and he applies fair prices. Totally recommended

Warahnus is a great place to stay with an amazing house reef so perfect even if you haven't come to dive. We spent each night watching the stars on the jetty and singing with the guys who work there who are great at local Papuan music! Bungalows are comfy and have everything you need, and the food is great!

Best homestay and dive shop we had in Raja Ampat.

Homestay- Good bungalows. Private bathroom and shower!! Incredible. Bed frame.

Dive shop- Very organized and professional, and fun guides. Always wanting us to have the best time possible within our safety.

The host mother also went above and beyond to arrange a birthday cake for my friend. That was incredible. I will stay here again if and when I come back to Raja Ampat.

It was very nice stay. Good food there, we have only one advice - there is a schedule of meal time (breakfast 7:30, lunch 12:30, dinner 7:30) but it was normal that they serve a lunch at 11:30, so if somebody were on a trip or was snorkeling and came for lunch he came late. There are two lovely and very friendly dogs. It's a favourite place on Raja Ampat so you can connect there with many people from many places all over the world, share stories, experiences and trips of course. Wonderful snorkeling there - we've seen lots of turtles, sharks, huge fishes and sea horses. Coral reef there is just beautiful. Sometimes there is very strong current when you reach the edge of the island, so be careful. You can go all over the island using jungle paths and there is two nice viewpoints as well. You can pay here by card.

Good homestay to visited, nice view, friendly host, but the electricity is limited (06.00 pm until 05.00 am).
Warahnus is just a homestay, no planned events are offered. We must have our own initiative and talk with the host to organize our events such as visiting places for snorkeling, bird watching, visiting interesting islands. We should have our own snorkeling equipment, otherwise we have to rent it at a rather expensive price. From the beginning we should know the price for each event such as how much the cost of traveling by speedboat, and other event services such as seeing birds of paradise and feeding the fish, so we know from the start about all costs. There is schedule of meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner),.in thjs event (meal) we can always meet together with other guests, knowing each other so become familiar. Overall we're enjoy n happy.

Vermont is a very good guy. Shy. But really honest.
The best is the food. Breakfast very well prepared.
Location is amazing. Great reefs.
And the best is the people working there. Always always with a smile.... and this small thing has no price.. which makes you feel good.

Spent 4 days here, really enjoyed my stay, food were good, fresh water, no need to take a boat anywhere to snorkel as a perfect spot is just in front of the homestay, also diving, but no diving center unfortunately, however a diving center is just on the other side of the island (25 min through the island)

Wir waren 9 Nächte hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind überdurchschnittlich komfortabel und das Badezimmer mit Dusche und Toilette im bungalow wirklich hoher Standard in Raja Ampat. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Gastgeber Bermon sehr freundlich und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Wir waren in dazugehörigen Dive Center 2x täglich tauchen, was wirklich ein Traum gewesen ist. Die meisten spots sind rund um die Insel aber auch Tagesausflüge werden angeboten und man kann an weiter gelegene Tauchspot fahren. Das Mittagessen wird dann mitgenommen und man genießt die Zeit auf einer anderen Inseln. Das Riff direkt am traumhaften Steg ist eines der schönsten das wir je gesehen haben und man konnte Stunden hier sitzen oder schnorcheln/ tauchen um es zu erkunden! Immer wieder gerne :)

Situazione spartana ma molto accogliente. Ci siamo trovati molto bene con i gestori e con le persone che lavorano per l'homestay. Il posto è magico. Abbiamo fatto snorkeling furiosamente tutti i giorni e posso dire che il reef intorno all'isola è davvero pazzesco. Coralli coloratissimi, tantissimi pesci di tutti i tipi, tartarughe e squaletti. Purtroppo la spiaggia al mattino è piacevole mentre al pomeriggio con l'alta marea quasi scompare. Inoltre suggerisco di arrivare armati di powerbank e luci per la notte dato che la corrente elettrica è garantita solo per poche ore la sera. Portatevi anche bagnoschiumi e shampoo perché non ci sono e non c'è modo di comprare nulla.
Il cibo è buono anche se un po' ripetitivo. Vendono la birra, ma se gradite snack vari o alcolici (che non siano birra) anche qui arrivate con le vostre scorte personali. Il bagno è abbastanza rudimentale ed è condiviso. Detto ciò il posto è talmente magnifico che passa davvero tutto in secondo piano. È presente un diving center ed è possibile accordarsi con i gestori per organizzare escursioni sia per lo snorkeling che per il diving.
