Pantai Kesirat

The road access was smooth but too narrow.
We have to walk for 500m to reach the main place. This beach is more like a cliff, there is no sand. But the view was amazingly great, especially when you come at sunset.

Greatt beach, great atmosphere, this place is recommended for a person who wants to be alone, you can refresh your mind here...🌊

The scenery is very good, neatly arranged and similar to the Teletubbies hill. Very suitable for camping. Highly recommended for those who like to see the vastness of the sea.

"Accidentally" visited this place when we were actually looking for the route to HeHa Ocean View. We're in awe because it's a slightly untouch, hidden beach and is such a nice place to get some fresh air. Not crowded at all (there was only a couple of people during our visit), comforting, breathtaking scenery (the blues and greens!), eyes pleased, clear sound of waves, give you a good amount of walk, cheap entrance fee, you'll definitely get some great pictures here, and I learn that this place is also a camping ground! Interesting ❣

While I do recommend everyone to visit and experience this beautiful place themselves, these are some things that you need to know:
- it is a cliff type of beach, not a sand beach
- it might not suitable for some elders because you have to walk a lil and they have stairs
- I don't recommend you to visit during noon because of the hot weather
- The road is so narrow, and steep. It's so small it can only fit for one car. So if you're driving a car and yours somehow come across another car going to the opposite direction, you'll have to do a lil teamwork to get out of there (+ it'll get so dark at night so watch out) but on the bright side ; you'll be pampered by the views throughout the trip
- This place is slightly far from the center of crowds and residents, but they do have some facilities like toilet and stalls.

🎟 : around @5k (exclude parking), There's a gate at the main road before you enter the smaller and more complicated track, they'll charge you at that place. There are several beaches around the area, additional entrance and parking fee are different for each place.

Don't imagine a beach with waves and sand or playing in the water here, because here the camping site is on the side of a cliff above the sea which offers beautiful views and a natural atmosphere that is very refreshing and calms the soul.

There is no place that make me feel so alive like this beach. Kesirat is one of my favorite beach in Jogja. It spoiled you by the ocean view, sunset kissed and the wind moved your feel. It is a clean hill , they taking care this place very gentle and it is not that far from Jogja i guess around an hr driving by a motorbike cause its in Panggang areas. In here you cant swim hence the ocean is too big. But just go here and you will be back again.

i went to kesirat beach in the middle of the day, wow the peak of summer! but the result iiisss......wow, another hidden treasure beach here. We couldn't going down there, but its okay, just enjoy the breeze. be careful of the ants on shrubs if you wanna take photos at edge the cliff, kids !

Hidden gem getaway in Yogyakarta! Though the access is far (around 2 hours of ride) and small roads, the breathtaking view is really worth it. Suitable for picnic or camping with beach view without getting wet because you cant play water here 😁

Amazing! This’s not kinda actual beach where you can play in the sands. More into a Clift with oceans view! What a great vibes! When you visit wohkudu beach, just leave your vehicle there and go here by walk ! Pretty close! Again! The views is amazing! Wound love to camp here. For your information that you will not find electricity. Welcome to nature! The infrastructure is also great!

There is no beaches but ocean. One good alternative if you'd like to enjoy sunset in Jogja. Be prepared, the location is quite far away from the city and the way back would be extremely dark after sunset

Unlike other rows of white sandy beaches in Gunungkidul, Kesirat Beach is enchanting with its character as a cliff-type beach. There is no white sand or views of the foam waves that pulled up on this beach. Only the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks.

Good landscape and a place to share a story with friends. But you can't swim there, it got dangerous wave and big coral stone.

Get out of jogja on a scooter and watch the sunset, incredible views of the cliffs and some good photo ops. Great place to soak in a bit of nature.

It's quiet it's clean it's really phenomenal. Great for romantic getaway.
Its gonna be a little difficult to reach if you use cars since the road is pretty narrow, use motorbike instead.
You can go fishing in here.
No entrance fee.
Close to wohkudu beach.

Compared to Wohkudu Beach, Kesirat Beach is more walkable. The pathway to the view point is already concreted. Also, there are more seats to watch waves comfortably. Friendly suggestion: bring your sunscreen and umbrella to protect yourself from the burning heat of the sun

Hidden gems people says, but actually this beach is exist for along ago.
The access isn't reached by big car because the street is so small.
We have to very in the edge of the street when meet another vehicle opposite us.
The beach is very good view.

This place has a beautiful long hill scenery. You have to climbing up the long stairs but the sunset is so gorgeous. ❤✨
