Tanjung Layar Beach

Very good scenery but I found this beach was quite dirty. There were some styrofoam pieces/garbages floating/lying around.

This beach is not for swimming. The wave is very tall. You can take photos in the stones and, if lucky, with waves breaking by the stones in the background.

Very nice and great south beach, it is in Banten but maps show routes from west Java then back to Banten. Bike touring with friends...👌🏼👌🏼🤩🤩

It's a very beautiful beach.
Haven't seen such a beautiful beach like this in Banten.
Anyways, it's one of South Java ocean, so you'll see and also you can choose many beaches to visit along the road.

You only need to pay 5k/person to enjoy 4-5 beaches inside Sawarna complex. Tanjung Layar is one of that beaches.
Your long way road will be paid off!

Big wave for surfing

One of underated beach landmark in Indonesia, spent my sunset there in one fine clear day. Its Amazing and breathtaking. Just find quiet corner and enjoy the beautiful sunset view. Recommended for all beach lovers👍👍
PS: If you enjoy beach side strolling its just 20-25 minutes walking from the entrance, no need to take bikerent (ojeg)😉

Come back again to Sawarna after 2 years off.
Still Amazing... Delicious and fresh food.. they also has new menu , lobster from local breeding.. five star menu from penginapan @Pondok Ciantir..

To be here personally I’ll use bike to get here at Tanjung Layar, because most of the villas are so far away from this place.. If you enjoy walking at the beach, maybe this is the perfect destination for you..

Good beach with the white sand

beautiful beach, great wave for surfing, partial sandy beach for playing with kiddos, partially coral rock for climbing or just take a moment

Nice cliffstones, many small foodstalls/place to eat, quite busy place for remote beach, narrow road seems accessible by motorbike only.

It takes 5-6hours from Jakarta. Located at Lebak, Banten with almost 4 hours zigzag road hihihi...

The beach quite clean. There are some people who’s fishing there. There are many food stall to rest and buy foods. There are many small lodging along the way to the beach. There are some people to put up their tent near the beach.

Be careful when you’re walking along the coral, it might be slippery.

However, the lighting when it’s getting dark is not sufficient enough.

An iconic of Sawarna Beach, "Tanjung" means 'cape" in English, and "Layar" means 'sheet' or 'sail', yes it because you can see this cliff just looks like a sail or sheet of the boat from the distance.
You can reach here by walk from parking area of Sawarna beach, there is a paving lane and also motor-cycle hiring costs around IDR 20.000 depends on how you are able to negotiate. The people there are also familiar, so many food stall to take a rest.
