Pantai Panjang Bengkulu

quite underrated beach in bengkulu. its a shallow beach with white sands. I'm interested in visiting this beach because I saw a beautiful sunset from the view of my hotel. I'd say this has a potential to be as beautiful as double six beach in bali.

there are some seating available near some food vendors where you can enjoy the view while sipping a coconut water under the shade of umbrella. one surprising moment is when a random seller visiting our seat with a variation of seafood fritters, the crab fritter cought our attention and I'm not dissapointed. the outer shell are crispy and the meat are very juicy and sweeeeeet! you can eat a whole thing basically. its so good that we ordered more 😂

Even Bengkulu is not my domicile, this is my hometown and Pantai Panjang has always been my favorite place to visit. Though the tourism is starting to rise with many facilities but in some areas, there are abandoned buildings that need to be lighten up. I am glad that there is no paying more to the gate (retribution), so we can easily roam through the straight street of Pantai Panjang. You can visit the main area (with the name of Pantai Panjang on it and in front of Sport Center Bengkulu) or you can walk/ ride across the street to the Marlborough Fortress. The culinary spots are spread across the street, i always remember to enjoy grilled fish cracker with sweet spicy sauce, crab satay, fruit salad (rujak), and of course variety seafoods. you need to save some money only for the parking area here or using facilities such as bikes or horse riding. This is a must place to visit when you are in Bengkulu. Happy visit!

Long Beach, nice to relax and chill during sunset.

Beautiful sunset everyday! The facility is always improving but slowly. Please keep this beach clean.

Great waves and friendly warung owners. The best place to surf on Pantai Panjang is in front of what the locals call "Sport centre". You'll know your at the right spot when you see a very large PANTAI PANJANG sign and lots little blue beach umbrellas and warungs. Surf is best in the mornings as wind tends to blow from north, which is offshore.

This placed is located in Bengkulu. I went here in April 2017 with my friends at senior high school. You can see the beautiful sunset in here. You can ride the delman horse in here that's feels exciting. The wind is very cool when it touches your skin.

Named pantai panjang (Long Beach) because the length of this beach is 7 kilometers and became the longest tourism sloping beach in Indonesia. pantai panjang (long beach) is located three kilometers from the city of Bengkulu, part of sumatera southwest island, Indonesia. With white sand, pine trees that shade and big waves, pantai panjang (long beach) offer stunning sea tourism. With big waves, pantai panjang (long beach) will become a paradise for surfers, the best to surf early in the morning until mid day.Since pantai panjang has the strong current, it is dangerous for swimming.

Cool place and the best to come was about 5:00 PM local time there was beautiful sunset waiting and the sand was still white but you can't swim here

Wanna get fit? Go jogging on jogging track. Nice atmosphere here

It's such a beautiful beach, no entering fee and nice place to hang out with all your fams and friends all the day

A white sandy beach with a very long coastline and stunning pounding waves. This beach is a very popular tourist destination for Bengkulu residents and tourists. There are no water rides, such as banana boats, and water sports here. Visitors only enjoy this place to sit back, walk along the beach or play ball. Public facilities, such as toilets, and cleanliness need to be maintained and improved.

This place is awesome. You have to go there to know how beautyful is it. Perfect 🙌

In 2018, I went to Pantai Panjang Bengkulu. I actually went to Bengkulu because I was one of the participants of National Schools Debating Championship. On the 4th day, my friends and I had some spare time so we decided to have some fun. This beach was not so far from our hotel, it took us around 10 minutes to get there. We went there at 5 p.m because we wanted to see the sunset. We gathered in the hotel’s lobby first, and then we walked to the beach together. It was weekday when we went there, so there was not a lot of people on the beach.
I really liked the atmosphere on this beach. The breeze was gentle. What I loved the most was the fact that there was no trash around the area of this beach. It was clean. I had a lot of fun, especially because I went here with my friends. The scenery was mesmerizing, we took a lot of pictures together. The sunset was really beautiful from this beach. Unfortunately, in the area that we visited, there was no place to sit, maybe because the area that we visited was not the main part of this beach.
All in all, I enjoyed being here. I wish I could go back here, maybe with my friends or my family.

I love Panjang Beach in Bengkulu City, so much to do and see. A large variety of restaurants and places to shop. And of course the ocean is a plus, the beaches are so nice and playing in the ocean is so enjoyable and relaxing! There is a jogging track that extend outward the beach. So healthy and extremely fun!
