staff take care of you all day long and they all are very nice , food is really good , emplacement is perfect , snorkeling spot right in front of the hotel , this place feel unreal

Wonderful stay at legon waru Resort, the view from our room make our trip Karimunjawa is memorable, room is simple nice, there is a bathup and small kitchen, they provide free indomie each room, and alfternoon tea, absolutely will come back again

This cottage is a hidden gem.

The view from the our bedroom and everywhere you go, is breath taking. Do you remember ever seeing a holiday postcard from way back, where there is a beach, a palm tree and a hill/mountain in the back? Well guess what? The view here is exactly that, times 1000 percent, pure natural beauty.

In the early morning, you can experience watching the sunrise from either your room's front porch or on the pier of the cottage. I highly recommend you grab a hot beverage of your choice, walk down to the pier, sit on the bench and experience the enchanting sunrise.

At night, you can star gaze from the same pier bench you watched the sunrise in the morning. When it is not cloudy, the stars above shine as bright as LED lights. Have your star tracking app ready and if you are lucky, you can spot your horoscope sign in the constellations.

On top of all this, throughout the day, you will hear the sound of soft waves crashing on the shore. It would not take long for your body to adjust to these soothing sounds. Don't be surprised if you find your body asking to take it easy, slow down and rest.

For an even more relaxing experience, the private beach area has huts and beach chairs where you can read a book, have a swim, workout or even, doze off and take a nap, to the sound of the waves, breeze and bird chirps.

The room has everything you need and more, a comfortable bed, a bathtub and a shower in the bathroom, and a very functional kitchen (supplied with the essentials and also eggs and indomie (noodles)- I mean come on! Brilliant!) with a cold mini fridge.

The hospitality from the staff will make you not want to leave this gem. I was well taken care of, they were attentive, informative and friendly. The breakfast and the afternoon snacks are pleasing because you get to experience the local produce of the day.

If you are lucky to be there when the two lovely owners are around, do take the time and inquire about the story and the people that are behind the building of this cottage, and of course, about the history of the island.

In short, I highly recommend this cottage.

A fabulous place!

If i could have given it 10 stars then i would have done that. This place has everything one needs during a stay in Karimunjawa. The staff is very friendly, professional and thoughtful. Perfect communication with staff and manager of the resort. A truly fantastic view on the resorts’ private beach, straight from the room and bathroom. Excellent food, very clean and modern rooms (thanks for the free upgrade) and located very close to town. This is something that is important since other resorts are easily half an hour drive from the harbor. From Legon Waru you can reach harbor and town in 5 minutes. Great value for price paid. A fantastic place that i would recommend to anyone.

Stayed in Legon Waru for 5 Days. And it was fantastic moments, i love the beach, i like the room, Staff are friendly!
Just maybe the foods can be better and more options. And also the position of the Ac is towards the door and it’s not really cooling the bed side. Other than that the bath is spotless, Kitchen is nice we have everything even Instant Noodles and Eggs is complimentary. The beach is 1minute walk downstairs, and it’s cleaned everyday.
Sometimes we see Monkeys plying around in the jungle. We are in the east so no sunset but the sunrise is also nice.
The front desk and the staff they all thinking out of the box which usually we don’t see that many often in Indonesia.
And we have unforgettable moments here.

The best place to stay in karimun. definitely will come again later

A really nice, calm, neat and secluded cottage with its own dock and cute beach. It was a pleasant stay.

Very nice place to stay away from the town area. Loved mostly everything about it. I would only suggest though, that more should try to be done about all the trash washed up on the beach and shoveled into the tree line. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Marvelous, my first time visiting Karimunjawa Islands, pristine clear water, preserved nature. The Legon Waru cottage represent all the elements of wonderful NATURE holiday. If you're looking for tranquility, simplicity and wonderful nature this is the place to stay. The staff were great, helpful and attentive. Unfortunately it was too short of stay. Looking forward for my next longer stay there. Thank you Legon Waru. Keep it up

Awesome,,, the hotel has own access to private beach, perfect for healing., The service also nice, room is clean, and has in room mini kitchen/pantry provide electric stove, fridge, and indomie complete with egg

This cottage is clean and very comfortable. 🧡The rooms are satisfying. All staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and the view, OMG so beautiful!! Legon Waru we love you. Very recommended ❤❤

THE VIEW, the service, the people, the meals, the room, everything is perfect, from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the friendly staff. The view is out of this world, and you can even see the sunrise from the porch of your room. Hot water for a warm bath and an electric stove for cooking.

Such a pretty hotel in Karimunjawa! Would totally go back 💯 the service is top notch! They even serve us afternoon snacks…

Its really cool and cozy in there! At the time im staying at Karimun Jawa i stayed in there and the view is really good! Sadly, I stayed the there just for 2 days but i rate it a infinity/10
