The first Empal Gentong I ate in Cirebon and surprisingly the taste was delicious and their Satay was my favorite. The Satay was served with sweet soy sauce with nutty sauce and chili sambal. They also provided Durian Ice Cream and Tahu Gejrot (Tofu served with sweet-sour sauce). Satay Meat was juicy and fatty as they used young goat. I was excited and satisfied with all their food.

P.S. Parking lot was a bit hard to find, but dont worry as their parking guide (juru parkir) is helpful and eager to manage.

very satisfying empal gentong dishes, the broth tasted thick and rich. yet the meat is still quite "chewy" to swallow, the price is so much affordable. 25-26K for the empal gentong exclude rice. I think this spot is the most favorable place to visit when you are craving for this local cuisine..

They also serve satay and several traditional foods. They only accept cash and transfer payment method. This place is local favorite.

Delicioso meat soup with thick broth. They have provided pretty spacious air-conditioned room now, it did really help us. Even tho it was still really packed with customers during the lunch time.

Good, beside empal gentong, the resto provide empal asem, es durian, and sate kambing -- goat satay. All of them were delicious, the seat for dine in limited because many tourist came here for enjoy their meal. Also the parking area were limited. The service was fast, after order and enjoy the meal, you should pay at the cashier.

Large place but too hot, it's not very comfortable eat inside. The taste of the foods are nothing special however the service is good. Your order will come right away

the food is surprisingly good, they provide a very large table for 13 - 15 persons. the service is hella fast, they have tons of staffs that will help you with anything!
the mushola is kinda small, but they have mukena for girls, don't worry about it.

You must come here when visiting cirebon, their famous menu is empal gentong.. but they also have other cuisine like tahu genjrot, sate kambing and nasi lengko.

Empal Gentong is typical food in Cirebon City. I got reference of famous Empal Gentong restaurant in Cirebon from my friend that is Empal Gentong H. Apud. There some food besides empal gentong that is Empal Asem, Nasi lengko and Sate Kambing. You will find Tahu Gejrot too in there....

For me, I like the taste Empal Asem, Empal Gentong, Sate Kambing Muda & Tahu Gejrot. It's ok to dine-in if the restaurant not too crowded. But it's uncomfortable at crowded time.
