We've eaten twice in the restaurant. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming. The food is really amazing. At first, we went for the vegetarian option. Hands down, the best vegetarian dish I had in Hungary. We liked it so much we returned a day after for brunch. They have a lot of options for brunch and once again, the quality didn't let us down. And the staff were welcoming once more. Really recommend stopping for a bite at this restaurant.

Please don’t miss this place when you visit the Lake Balaton. Very nice staff, cute garden and amazing food. (Gluten-free option too). Superb atmosphere and design. Highly recommended!

We did not have any rooms because we dropped by to eat. The food is mainly home-made and recommendable. Especially the Hungarian dishes are delicious.

I arrived here with 6 people on an ordinary October Saturday, don't have reservation, would like only just a coffee and cookies.

I was surprised because that the place was full of guests, the staff was so nice and helpfull, we got a table for half an hour, and it was totally OK for us.

Drinks and sweeties were perfect, the waiters, waitresses were honestly smiling.

Just a small recommendation: maybe let the guests can make their own tea at table.:)

I recommend to look around, explore the "secret garden" :) as well.

When we left, a small music group just started to play.

I like that place and I'll get back for sure.

Excellent. I’ve been here multiple times, enjoy their breakfast — they take great care to use only organic and local ingredients, and serve you food made with lots of love. The matcha latte is some of the best around, while - if you’re into it for breakfast - the sparkling wine is fully natural (organic, untreated). Service is excellent throughout and the outdoor seating in the backyard is peaceful and has plenty of charm. Recommended any time, just beware that breakfast is served until noon only (on Sun until 1pm) — and no food is served until 4pm. Vegan options available too.

Favourite for brunch place when we are in the area. Sweet and savoury options for breakfast plus light-roasted specialty coffee. Both the building and the garden area have a nice vibe. They are children friendly and also welcome dogs (however the garden is not fully fenced). Favourite dish: clafoutis with any kind of fruit (depends on the season). Music events and themed days/nights are recommended (make a reservation!) and they also offer accommodation.

We had wonderful time here!🤩 The staff was open-armed and very helpful, the place is dog-friendly. The food and wine was amazing! They cook from local ingredients, which was so tasty. I warmly recommend everyone, especially for gourmet people.

Stayed for three nights.
The room was very retro style - I had a room with a bath and not a shower, that was not convenient. Other than that it was comfortable and clean. There is no room service.
The breakfast which is included, was absolutely amazing. Freshly baked cakes everyday, breads and lots of cheese and meat to choose from.
The hotel comes with a parking spot very close by.
The staff is very friendly and pleasant to talk to.
I recommend this place if you are planning a weekend getaway at lake Balaton

We only had breakfast here and can't say much about the rooms.
At first view both in and outside this is the tipical place you expect all the Instagram influences to drink their Chai Lattes, but it is a lot more then that. The interior is not original but it does have a pleasant and surprisingly calm atmosphere. Be prepared for a busy location and it is recommended to book in advance as they are usually full.
The meals are delicious and you get a wide selection of sweets and coffee as well.

Super kind people! We arrived just 10 minutes before closing, and we had an exceptional service. Bought a bottle of wine (very good one) at a good price. After a tiring tour the vendor filled our bottles with sparkling water. I can only recommend this place, if you are nearby do not miss it!

We had dinner here tonight and absolutely everything was great about this place - the service, the atmosphere, the food. They even have Gin here - I’m talking of “proper” Gin (Monkey 47 amongst others). This will be our new favorite local!

Simply spot on. Fantastic place if you're looking for quality breakfast, including locally sourced craft cheese, freshly baked quiche and supreme coffee. Highly attentive staff and a good vibe all together.

We had the best dinner at Vánkos! Delicious food and wines and the space was so beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

Wolrd class breakfast with a cosy atmosphere. Eggs benedict was phenomenal with the muffin.
