Abbey Pausa Café

I can easily say it’s my new favourite spot! Especially that lavandula pastry was amazing. I have lactose intolerance and my pills wasn’t with me even though i wanted to finished that dessert yes im bloated but totally satisfied! If you are around you MUST visit this place.

Delicious coffee and cakes, nice place for a rest after visiting the church. If you drive there, then I suggest you go here by car, so you don't need to walk back to pick up the car. We enjoyed our coffee under the sunshine with a nice view.

The cakes are unique and delicious. The beer is belgian style, aromatic and strong, also made locally. The view is amazing from the terrace. Something for everyone.

Nice café within the arboretum/lavender garden. Prices are probably higher, but the apricot cake & coffee were great. It is worthy even just for the chill vibes and nice surroundings. They also sell merch from Pannonhalma Archabbey. [visited in VII/2023]

When i go to Pannonhalma i always visit the Pausa Cafe. And i have never been dissappionted. This place is AWESOME. Not just because of the cakes are beautiful AND taste amazing. But the stunning view of the Abbey from the inner terace. All above, the staff was very helpful and professional. Absulolutely worth a try.

Really top-level quality cakes.

There are tables inside as well as outside. Stunning view from the garden. The desserts are delicious and the coffee is fairly good as well. Scrumptious and various choices of unique ice cream flavors.

The price is a bit higher than average (at least for me) but because of the quality it's totally worth it. Plus the view of the monastery from the garden is beautiful!

Not often you find very high quality ingredients in the Hungarian countryside, but Pausa Pastry shop is one of them. Try the Pausa cream slice or the lavendel mille feuille freshlyy made daily!

The cakes are delicious but they contained sugars. The traditional cakes usually contains. In spite of it the surrounding and the restaurant was clean and fancy.

Dog friendly place. Nice guys, fresh cookies. Credit cards are accepted. Recommended place.

Pausa cake is so good as French Opera cake or even better. The staff is very friendly
