Ókeresztény Mauzóleum

Part of the Unesco site "Early Christian Necropolis of Pécs". This sector is outside the Dome Lapidarium Museum and in the open air, and so it's freely visitable at any time. Very impressive and interesting.

4th century burial grounds. The mausoleum under ground is well explained and documented. The space includes a sarcophagus and paintings on the walls. Very well done, but quite small -- maybe 20 minutes to explore everything. This can be done together with the medieval university exhibit.

Amazing how well it was preserved

Eine spannende Ausgrabungsstätte eines frühchristlichem Grabes. Man kann dieses Minimuseum mit der Eintrittskarte von Der Cella Septichora betreten. Sehr spannend sind die Verzierungen auf dem Grab zu sehren.

Ispred katedrale se nalazi ulaz u ranohrišćansko groblje. To je ustvari arheološko nalazište i skoro u potpunosti je ispod zemlje. Mogu se videti sarkofazi, grobnice i ostaci mauzoleja iz kasnorimskog perioda (4. vek). Deo dostupan za posetioce je relativno mali ali ga vredi obići. Ovo nalazište je svrstano na UNESCO listu svetske kulturne baštine. Ulaznica je oko 2,5 evra.

1600 éves történelmi emlék, sajátos hangulattal. A tárlatvezetést kár kihagyni, sok értékes információval lehetünk gazdagabbak.

Kedves kiszolgálás, nagyszerű tárlat, jól ki van táblázva, minden teremben kiírás és tájékoztató videó. Babakocsival nem bejárható. Kb. 40 perc-egy óra.
És hát 1600 éves emlékek!

Páratlan lelet. Érdemes vele együtt a szomszédos Cella Septichorát is megnézni!

Igazi kuriózum, nem szabad kihagyni.
