A copfstílusú református templom alapját 1786-ban vetették meg, felszentelésére 1792-ben került sor, a padlója helyben bányászott tufa. Nevezetes lelkésze volt Sepsi Laczkó Máté, aki utóbb Lorántffy Zsuzsanna szolgálatába állt és szőlészettel és borászattal kezdett foglalkozni. A szájhagyomány szerint nevéhez fűződik az első aszúbor előállítása és készítésének első leírása.
