Erdőbénye legrégebbi építészeti emléke a Szent György tiszteletére szentelt római katolikus templom, amely a XIV. században épült, a hajója 1787-ből való. Ma már csak a torony tagozataiban őriz gótikus részelteket. Több periódusban átépítették, mai formáját a XVIII. században nyerte el.
