+ We were able to get a place at the weekend without a reservation, without river view though.
+ Prices are reasonable, though dish sizes are not large
+ The food is delicious. We took a starter with a surprise and nice taste, a main course, and a dessert (3 tastes of ice cream and additional) - pretty good!

It is always a pleasure visiting Platán Restaurant. We were here with our parents, this was their first time here and the place did not disappoint: the service was soooo friendly yet professional, the food quite amazing, and the atmosphere with the tree and the lake: perfection. Treat yourself with a visit here when you are around, even if it is only for a dessert, ice cream. 😍

A perfect place to celebrate an anniversary on the last day of indian summer. The food is perfect, service is outstanding and the atmosphere is perfect. If you can, try and ask for a table outside.

We had a fantastic culinary experience at the bistro. The duck leg with lentils is marvellous. And they offer fab gluten-free options. Great food and great value!

Best non Budapest restaurant by far have been there many times never disappoints. For starter the Vietnamese beef soup is highly recommend .

First of all 5*. Had a really warm welcoming, everyone was absolutely kind. The place itself looks great, modern and has a really good atmosphere. Everything we ate was just great. Interesting and special flavors and they looked perfect. Fine dining at it's best.

Went on business travel and cannot recommend more highly because of knowledgeable staff, excellence in cuisine and service which was customer centered. Everyone was eager to provide what I needed and demonstrated flexibility, which in Hungarian hotels and restaurants is rare. Well done! Oh, the location is absolutely perfect to experience historic Tata.

Well deserved five stars: excellent food and drink selection (the taste itself and the layout on the plate is very nice), place has a very good layout and interior design. Staff is prepared (if I had a question concerning the items listed on the menu, I got a detailed answer) and very professional in every way. Located in a really nice environment, just by a beautiful lake. If you're a gourmet, this place is definitely for you!

I mean, it's great, not a cheap comfort food Hungarian place. But if you get the right seat and a dish that suits your tastes you'll be blown away.

Again I am really enjoy in the food from special dishs. But maybe the pork ear can try to cook in other way to remove the meat smell a bit.
